Coloured Names
Have you ever been playing Q3 online and wondered how those guys get their names to be different colours? Or how they get each letter a different colour? You don't need to waste your time downloading those name generators. All you need to do is enter the following into the Q3 console:
^1=Red

If you are using a Voodoo2 or Voodoo3 graphics card I recommend going to Wicked3D and downloading the Wicked GL Drivers. Some gamers get a frame increase from 3 to 10 fps. If you are a more experienced user you can take a look at my console page.
If you are'nt fortunute enough to have a cable, lan or T1 connection and you play Quake3 using your 56K modem then you probably know how lag can affect your game. So if you want to improve your game without playing online then there is a command that you can enter in the console to simulate lag.
