Hey Tuckahoe-
I hope you aired out that sleeping bag and have the tent ready to go. Summer boards are just around the corner.
Also, break out that grass skirt and coconut bra. The theme for the excitement seminar and hour of power is…Margaritaville. So be prepared. You will be receiving your Margaritaville survival pack upon splash down at Camp Virginia Jaycee. We have 7 campsites reserved for the chapter. I will be driving up early in the day to set up all the tents and get things set up. I will also be shopping for food for the weekend so I am asking everyone that is camping with us to give $15 to $20 to cover the costs. Sorry to be this way but if you don’t pay by August 21st, you won’t be eating.
Please get this to me as soon as possible. I’d hate to have anyone go hungry. Another big event going on the same time as Summer Boards is Virginia Beach’s East Coast Surfing Championships. So if you’re not coming to boards with us but would like to go to the beach, ECSC will be going on throughout the week and weekend.
Well it’s been a great summer and it’s starting to wind down now. But there’s still plenty of place to go and people to see across the state.
