On November 2, Mr. Tuck's Language Arts students cast secret ballots in the classroom for the President of the United States, as a way for them to participate in the nation's most precious exercise of citizens' power. Although the votes did not officially count, the results, along with selected excerpts from their subsequent letter to President Bush, have been sent to both the Bush and the Kerry campaigns. I will print whatever responses we receive on this page.
