In Loving Memory of Tucker Smith by Marcellus V. Smith great grandfather of Tucker
Baby Tucker, we know your sojourn Here was but a wink of time. But, oh how great the memories You have left behind.
Baby Tucker, brother, son, and friend. You are gone and we are left to grieve. We don't understand or know, Just why now you had to leave
Baby Tucker, its been said by many Of God's prophets old and new, That we were ordained before we came, A special job to do.
Baby Tucker, I guess you've finished yours, And it's time to move along, Those prophets say a better place, A place where you belong.
Baby Tucker, you've gone ahead And crossed the great divide, This is really not goodbye, for soon we'll all Be crossing over and walking by your side. So long for now Baby Tucker |

Days without you... Bobbie S. Smith
Morning comes, I'm thinking of you I try not to think of the things we "didn't do" Throughout the day you cross my mind Sometimes I wonder if others are blind "Don't they know what I'm going through?" "Aren't they thinking of you too?" Bedtime comes and your still not here, No longer death do I fear For I know your happy, and not alone And I know someday we'll all be going home. Love Mom |

Baby Tucker By Candice A. Cress (Tucker's Cousin)
Two precious hands soft and sweet
They grab a hold of his two little feet
Two chubby cheeks that we like to kiss
His bright twinkling eyes
They match his sweet smile that says
" I love you"
Forever we will remember this cheerful boy
For now he is our Guardian Angel
We love you Baby Tucker
Love Candice Ann |

What Makes A Mother?
I thought of you ad closed my eyes And prayed to God today, I asked what makes a mother And I know I heard him say. A mother has a baby This we know is true. But God can you be amother When your baby's not with you? Yes, you can He replied With confidence in His voice I give many women babies When they leave is not their choice. Some I send for a lifetime And others for a day. And some I send to feel your womb But there's no need to stay. I just don't understand this, God I want my baby here He took a breath and cleared his throat And then I saw a tear I wish I could show you What your child is doing today. If you could see your child smile With other children and say "We gon on earth to learn out lessons Of life and love andfear. My Mommy loved me oh so mych I got to come straight here. I feel so luck to have a Mom Who had so much love for me I learned my lesson very quickly My Mommy set me free. I miss my Mommy oh so much But visit her each day. When she goes to sleep On her pillows whre I lay. I stroke her hair ad kiss her cheeck And whisper in her ear "Mommy don't be sad today I'm your baby and I'm here" So you see my dear sweet one Your children are ok Your babies are here in MY home And this where they'll stay. They'll wait for you with ME Until your lesson is through And on the day that you come home They'll be at the gates for you. So now you see what makes a Mother It's the feeling in your heart It's the love you had so mych of Right from the very start. Though some on earth may not realize you are a Mother Until their time is done. They'll be up here with Me one day And know you're the best one. |
