| A rare survivor of a once common barn constructed of native pine which grew in the district in abundance. This structure located on John Kroehn's property a few miles east of Swan Reach, South Australia, is well over 100 years old. The native pine used in construction contained quite a bit of natural terpentine which was highly resistant to white ant infestation. Photo 1996 |
