Barry Goldwater Bombing Range Tour

Here are some images of our recent tour to the Barry Goldwater Test Rage:

The range is a few miles north of Ajo, AZ, and is an example of typical Arizona desert landscape.

Here is the entrance road, with some of the construction equipment off to the left.

The observation tower is used to by the ground crew (and us in this picture) to view the weapon tests.

Here is a strafing target, pre-strafe.

Here is that same target, under a hail of 20mm rounds fired during an F-16 strafing run.
