| We had anticipated replacing the 18-year-old carpet that was in the car but once it had been soaked with Simple Green, pressure-washed and hung out to dry it really looked great, so it will go back in. This is a rayon-loop carpet that was purchased from TRF in 1982. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The seat covers were sound but fit poorly and the springs were weak. Jamis upholstery in Tucson did a great job of reworking the seats. They used foam in place of the springs to achieve an original look while creating a very comfortable seat (at least it was comfortable when I sat on it on the floor and made motor noises).. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The front bumper and over-riders (aka bumperettes) were rechromed by Royal Plating here in Tucson. They also replated the side curtain brackets using a brushed nickel which presents an authentic period look. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
