Here are three of my closest girl-friends. These girls are fab and funny. Lindsay, Niki and Ruxandra are special to me for many resons, but most of all for their creativity and spirit. Ruxandra will definitely make it big! She is smart and articulate, affectionate and very outgoing. She is so passionate and sincere like few people are. She now works for a big business consulting firm in SF. Niki is a great artist and can be a really good friend and confidante. Lindsay is poetic and sweet, a woman with her hair in the clouds and her heart lost in books. |
This is my best friend Val. We go back to 1997, when we met in Washington DC. We dated for a while, but then became friends, and today, he is the one person who knows me the best. We tell each other everything and dream about settling down, making lots of money and having someone "normal" to love. Val is a really smart and educated guy, and he got into business school at UPenn (Wharton). He likes Bach and traveling around the world. |
Silvia in "the" blue dress (it took us 5 hours to find a dress that we liked for that evening's outing)! Silvica and I are very similar. We both grew up on the same street in Bucharest, but only knew each other through our parents who became friends in the 1990's. She is one of the most cheerful people I have ever met, and a very sexy dancer! We spent some time in DC together, and loved it. I think she would be the one woman I would see myself married to. She is really interested in Latin America and speaks Spanish fluently. Silvia is doing her MBA in DC. |
Amy is a future Martin Scorsese, she really wants to become a director. She is the most curious person in the world, and she can ask a million questions about anything. We danced a lot during our senior year at Stanford. Amy now goes to USC for film production. The day she makes it big, I will join her crew. Keep your fingers crossed! |
Bjorn is my roommie in San Francisco, and he is very proud of his Norwegian heritage. He moved here from Wisconsin, and is the perfect roommie! On Christmas of 1999, he cooked a really tasty meal for our group of friends. We all ate lufsa and lutafisk, made decorations for the tree and drank hot chocolate. Roxana is a great dancer, and has a huge list of qualities: smart, energic, secure, funny, sexy...ok, had enough? Roxana is now in New York and works for an investment bank. We still keep in touch. |
