My Camera ---
A Frame

A head lays upon a tear soaked pillow
Eyes face toward the ceiling
Gently moving to one of many postcards
Carefully taped to the wall of a bedroom

Fascination with the unique penmanship of a "g"
Calmly, eyes close begining a tear
Sholders continue to quiver,
Our picture from my wallet flashes before
       my sightless eyes.

Turning right, a frame comes into view
Beneath the glass is held 16 years of age
Your arms embraced my new born flesh
my fingertips gently stroking the keeper of gold.

Paused Time

The darkness surrounds us
as we stand against the wall.
Our hearts beat together as one,
I lay in the saftey of your arms.

Smiling, I look up to you,
the moon shinning your forgetless face.
You hold me, feeling my pain,
healing it with your every motion.

Your precious lips press against mine,
as we stop time with the power of our love.
My harmful thoughts are temporarily forgotten,
happiness growing at every seconds passing.

Gradually, time works against the world,
your fingers removed from my hair.
As the door is opened, we are returned to reality,
light shinning in, as the devil steals back my soul.

Goddess

Reflections bouncing off cold maroon metal
Innocent hands touch the uniqueness of
             each identity
Locked in place by the sight of a goddess
Oblivious to reality, yet golden to each.

Some filled, successfully ending a journey
Yet many remain empty,
             searching continueously
Gental streams of emotion gathering in circles
The power to edit ourselves like a wardrobe

Standing alone, above all others
Beauty flows, strengthening abandonment
Just like the rest,
However remaining so different
