This is the History of Front Line Assembly to the best of my knowledge.


1984: Bill Leeb (then known as Wilhelm Shroeder) leaves Skinny Puppy

1985: Leeb forms the band "Frontline Assembly," and makes 2 demos, Nerve War and Total Terror.
KK records signs a record contract with Leeb

1986: FLA's first album, The Initial Command, is released with the help of Michael Balch.

1987: FLA signed with Dossier Records.
Micheal Balch becomes a full-time member of Frontline Assembly.
FLA's second album, State of Mind, is released with the help of Rhys Fulber.

1988: FLA signs with the labels Wax Trax and Third Mind.
The album Corrosion is released under their new name, Front Line Assembly (now 3 words).
Disorder is Released.


Convergence is released (Corrosion+Disorder+3 new tracks)

1989: Gashed Senses and Crossfire is released.
Michael Balch leaves Front Line Assembly
Rhys Fulber becomes a full-time member.

1990: FLA releases the singles Iceloate and Provision.

1991: Caustic Grip is released.
The singles Virus and Mindphaser are released.

1992: FLA's seventh album, Tactical Nueral Implant, is released.

1993: The Blade is released.

1994: Front Line Assembly signs with Roadrunner records.
Millenium is released, FLA's eighth album.
Total Terror, in parts 1 & 2, is released under Cleopatra records.

1995: FLA signs with Metropolis Records.
The single Surface Patterns is released.
The single for Circuity is released
Front Line Assembly's nineth album, Hard Wired, is released.
Corroded Disorder (Corrosion+Disorder) is released under Cleopatra.

1996: Pasticity single is released.
Live Wired (box set & video) is released.

1997: Reclamation (a compilation of singles, rarities, and remixes) is released by Roadrunner.
Rhys Fulber leaves.
Chris Peterson fills in.
The single Columbian Necktie is released.

1998: FLAvour of the Weak is released.
The single Comatose is released.
RE-WIND (2 cd set of RMX's) is released.
Monument (another comilation of singles, rarities, and RMX's) is released

1999:   Implode is released by Metropolis Records, with a single for 'Prophecy"
