CHOCOLATE SYRUP BROWNIES
- 4-OZ sweet butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350º F

In a mixer with the paddle attachment, cream together the sugar & butter
Add the eggs, on at a time

In a bowl mix the flour, salt & baking powder together
Add the egg mixture

Add the chocolate syrup, vanilla & nuts, stir to combine 
Pour batter into prepared pan

Bake until tester comes out clean, about 30-40 minutes

Cool brownies (in the pan), before cutting into squares

Store brownies in an airtight container, refrigerated or at room temperature until ready to use

Yields 12-16 brownies
