6 medium russet (or your favorite) potatoes, scrubbed washed & well drained
1 recipe (2 cups)
gorgonzola sauce
1 to 2 tablespoons
roasted garlic, puréed (fresh, minced garlic can be substituted)
1 large white onion, sliced (optional)

Pre-heat oven to 350° F

Slice the potatoes into rounds (you could peel the potatoes, but I don’t), about ¼-inch thick

In an oven proof casserole dish (sprayed with vegetable spray), place one layer of the potatoes, overlapping slightly
Add the puréed garlic to the gorgonzola sauce, mix to combine
Ladle half (1 cup) of the gorgonzola sauce over the potatoes

Repeat layer, ending with the sauce

Bake in the middle of the oven (uncovered) until potatoes are tender, about 40 to 45 minutes

Cool slightly before serving
Yields about 6 servings
