You know those quotes you see in the little white box while Petz 4/Petz 3 is loading? Well, how would you like to be able to make it say what you want? Well, it's very simple to do, just follow these easy directions:

(If you running Dogz 4/3, you'll need to edit dogzsplash.txt, and for Catz 4/3, catzsplash.txt)

1. Make a copy of the petzsplash.txt file, found in your Petz 4\Resource or Petz 3\Resource folder.
2. Right click on the original file (not the copy), select properties from the popup menu, and uncheck the Read-Only box. Then click OK.
3. Now open the file in notepad (found under Accessories)
4. You can now change anyone of the messages, all of them, or delete certain ones, etc.. Remember, they can only be one line long.
5. Change the number now at the top of the file, to match the amount of messages.
6. All that's left now is to save the file (File - Save). Close Notepad, and now startup Petz. You should see your personalized messages now.
