Mooncake Festival

It's mid autumn again. And you can see kids carrying lantern walking around their houses/play grounds, kids lighting those candles and place it in front of the car pouch. All these childhood fun no longer happend to me as I'm growing up. I remember when I'm young until the age of like 14, me, bro and both my parents would sit at our garden, eating moon cakes, lighting candles etc.. It's such a wonderful moment; now that all of us has grown up, we don't do that anymore. It's all my childhood memories and I shall always keep it in me.

Nevertheless, yesterdays' install post mortem dinner cum meeting was successful and joyful. We had really good chat/fun and also shocking surprises.Car accident, tyre into drain etc.. After the dinner, we proceed to a member house to celebrate it's lantern festival. Practically, we had fun. Those guys having fun blowing the gum? While, we girls lighting candles, hanging lantern. We also fly the balloons on air!! It's so beautiful. Each of us wrote a wish on the paper tanglung tying with 4 balloons and let it go to the sky. It's such a beautiful moment looking up the sky seeing our balloons flying to another side of the world. *awww*

I watched Princess Diary 2 today. I find the Cinderella Story better than it. Well, it's individual opinion. ^^ me and yk head down to Puchong to pick willz up and head down to Taipan for dinner. We had this really delicious italian food at Pasta Uno. Most of it are homemade pasta and it taste perfectly delicious.

SuperB day!

I'm still so sick with flu! I hope it will be alright soon. Yesterday, we met up with willz and shannon for dinner and movie! We watched the cantonese comedy by Jackie Chan, 'New Police Story'. Nicholas Tse is so handsome and cute in it! He acted like a so lo which is so funny! It's so Jackie Chan movie. hehehe,

It's already the end of September and we are left two months before the new year come! I'm so dead!! I need to start revising for my exam.

Blood Bank Visitation

Even though I'm down with flu and cough but it's all worth it with the activities. I didn’t attend class on Saturday morning because my sick were flu was really in bad condition and I have headache due to that. However, I still have to wake up about 11am to get myself ready for the blood bank visitation.

The jam at the city was so bad that we were stuck in it for like an hour. The visitation allowed me to know more about our blood and the greatness of it.

We started off hanging around the Lobby while waiting for other members to arrive. The explanatory (I can’t remember his name) then explain to us the procedure for donors to donate their blood in this Pusat Darah Negara. Here in the national blood bank, you have a one-to-one counselor advice in order to donate blood. It is better than the mobile though.

We move on to the donation room, where there’re two section of it. One for whole blood donors and another for plasma donors. Each section has a set of TV for you to watch while you donate your blood/plasma.

A donor donating whole blood, which is the normal donation drive, you see in mall.

This are the machine for plasma donors. The process of donating plasma takes about an hour. It will first have to process it at this machine in order for the plasma to be produced. Look at the second picture and you will see a bag of plasma (in yellow colour) at below.

This picture illustrates the whole blood. This is the normal blood where everyone donates at the shopping mall. One whole blood contains of red cell, plasma as well as platelet. The yellow colour(upper layer of the blood pack) is plasma followed by platelet than red cell.

Plasma last for 2 years and it is often use for hemophilia and liver failure. While, platelet only last for 5 days and it is use for patient like leukemia. Red cell can last up to 35 days.

The national blood bank in KL needs to collect at least 500 packs of whole blood per day. It is somehow still not enough for the nation.

This is where they selected a few platelets randomly to be placed in this dryer.

He then brings us to the laboratory where all the red cell, plasma and platelet are kept. Every morning, they will have to state down the inventory board.

He also shows us the frizzier where some of the plasma was kept.

It will only expire after 2 years.

We were then brought into a red cell screened room. It is quite a large room. And it has tons of red cell pack. I was like almost freaked out seeing those bloods!!

These workers will weight the blood pack after bringing back from the mobile donation.

Those blood bags will then brought to this lab. They will put each bag to each container and the machine will then start spinning. This will differentiate the plasma, platelet and red cell.

These are the area for them to keep the plasma. These plasmas are then brought to Australia to produce the medicine for hemophilia.

This is one of the products (medicine) for hemophilia patients.

This trip was really a GOOD trip to me! I honestly learned a lot of things from there.

ArgH!! Chip & Kim Won Amazing Race 5.

I just checked through CBS website that the Chip and Kim won amazingrace 5.I'm so so so angry!! Chip and Kim won the amazing race 5, while my all time favourite team, Colin and Christine finished second. and guess how they lost??? YES! because of the taxi!! why on earth, they ALWAYS need to have the worst taxi driver. If only they could have the luck on transportation, they would have won that USD$ONE MILLION!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

However, a very very big CONGRATULATIONS to Colin and Christine. They have made it through and it's so sweet that Colin remarked that he loves christine very much. awwwwww....

I'm still sick. Doubt I'll be going for class tomorrow morning. I'm so tired now, am waiting for Malaysian Idol to be on air and the last episod of Amazingrace!

I'm so sicked!

Things are going no where. I'm getting sicked of it. I also realise that, all my affords goes no where but down to the drain. My tending cares and loves doesn't mean anything to it. Is that a sign from GOD that I shall be moving on? Can't I have the things I hope for? For the matter of it, I'm really lost. I so wanted to.....sleep forever.

feeling sick already :/

It's already Wednesday. I was still looking forward for tomorrow post mortem meeting only to found out it was postpone. so sad :/ * This also means that next week, Tuesday and Thursday I'll be having meeting.

*NEW* *NEW* I've update some of the links, ie, reviews. Added a couple of reviews in 3 different section. Also uploaded 2 new albums which you can get it at the gallery. On the other hand, I somehow love this pinky layout! ha-ha. I love the love letters font. You can see the love shape clearly.

I've started revising during the night. Allocating about few hours a day to catch up for all the subjects. I've got too many things to catch up which some I don't even know what does it mean.

Happy 20th Birthday to yk!

Finally, I got my own domain!! http://www.tuliplucy.com * so happy! yes, I'm so happy. Thanks yk for initiating this..but it's so ironic that we found this hosting co. It was all because of the Lions MD Convention that we came across this hosting page. ha-ha. And mind you, it's so much cheaper than the locals one and it has so many benefits. Thanks to my Lions and also yk! I'm glad to have my own domain now. Am getting a hosting plan year end though, can't wait for it!!

I have changed my layout in-conjunction with my new domain! It's almost the same as last time; I just changed the colour and the position of the links as well as adding this new review column.

My weekend trip was great! though there are some of the games we missed, still we had fun. I also get to know Malaysia Idol final's will be in Genting, I don't think any of us will be going.

I just came back from a relaxing manicure at JJ Nail Studio at Bangsar. I passed by the new Bangsar Village Centre, it was beautiful!! :) The first glance I saw was, Starbucks cafe. They also had its famouse Outback Steak Restaurant, and hong kong cuisine restaurant as well. I did not have the time to walk around as I'm rushing for my appointment in JJ studio. The service there indeed is very good. (It's my first time there at Bangsar outlet). They know what we need and most of all, has the patient to choose the colours we want. :) Today, the lady that service me, explained about my nails condition and I'm certainly to go back there again. LOLx. Anybody wants to join me?

Surprises always makes me Happy!

Though my weekend started with classes and exam, but it ended with a smile on my face.

My exam went well. I knew I did the 1st question wrong and I'm going to loose 50% of the paper. but it's okay, it's progress test anyway. The Saturday night ended quite early as I am dead tired. On Sunday, we decided to head down Mid Valley for a day trip. It's so relaxing and happy... it's so worth the price we pay. LOLx! The formation day for KL Capital Unity was a good one. Of cause, there are a few people were curious about the club name as it is same as KL Unity. I think, the Lions should have thought about it earlier on, as nobody would like this to happend.

I accidentaly read through something which I know I STRICTLY shouldn't do so. It's a confidential thing for my dad. I obviously were quite disappointed with the decision of which he mention in it but I know, he has a reason for doing so. This doesn't make me love him less but to know, it's still a tradition that guy is obviously important than girl. I love you dad! <3

I pray to Lord to bless all that has sacrifices their lives during the terrorist attack. It is sad to see more wars happened after the 9-11 attacked. I pray to Lord that the world will be peace again and that, no more lives shall be sacrifies.

I also thanks Lord for saving me. I almost met into an accident. Something which I didn't even know what-I'm-doing. I really almost bang into the divider of the toll. I'm fortunate enough to step on the break. I thanks GOD for saving me.

I'm devastated with all the WARS around the world!! Where has WORLD PEACE quote gone to???

Okay, for whatever happend yesterday, I just felt lucky. The thing still haunt me every hour and then. I tried not to think about it, but it terrified me when I saw myself almost banging into it. I thanks the 'tol' lady to comfort me and to take my touch-n-go card to punch in. I'm thankful.

Other than that, TODAY, is such a TIRING DAY!! I woke up at 7.48am despite I slept at 3am(couldn't sleep). I rush to college and attended a 4 hours class! Later on, yk came to college accompany me for lunch and there, I went for my exam at 2pm. "pheww".. I'm still awake now, didn't manage to take a nap or so. I'm staying up for my regular 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guys'.

I'm only hoping tomorrow I'll get a room there; also to hope that tomorrow function at new town wouldn't bores me and won't take up such a long hour. For whatever reason, tomorrow, I hope (again) I'll just get to go there for a nice trip! *finger cross* We need a good rest after a long busy days.

Where has my peaceful and lovely weekends gone to?

Recently, I've been reading alot about terrorist attacks all around the world. It is so sad and heart broken for the people in Russia. So many innocent childrens has sacrifices for things they have not done. What is wrong with all this terrorist? I heard, the commentators said, all terrorist are muslims? If this is true, what does our country has to say about this? Even though we are not found guilty for any terrorism attack, but does that mean our country is still clean and pure? 911 attack in US, Bush once pointed his fingers at Malaysia as our country is part of muslim country. Thus, where is our stand? I feel so sorry for things happend, especially in Russia and now in Jakarta! One city that is quite well known. How many innocent people died on the street while working to work? Another bombing incident in Bhagdad, Iraq. It is shown that USA has attacked the city at least 3 times in these few days! Over 100 hundreds of people died. In this 2 weeks itself, AT LEAST 600 people died of terrorism. When can the war between Islam and Christian stop? When can Islamic terrorist some their war on innocent people????

I'm running out of space! However, I already found a solution to it. Just can't wait to get my new domain address and web hosting!! :) You say it all, I'm excited!

I'm back after a long busy days!!

I finally get a chance to sit down and type something here. I've been really really busy with studies, organizings, tv's night as well as hanging out! Nope, I doubt I had been out for fun for a long time besides the sunway lagoon day. I did catch quite alot of movies but it's only movies.

The installation was over. It was indeed a very emotional time for almost every of the committee. Everyone writes something sweet and touching. Can't wait for the post mortem meeting, can't wait to have dinner with them, can't wait to laugh with natalie's funny stories. I miss them! It was fun to work with such a wonderful organizing chairman. He is so far, the best OC I ever work with.

Happy belated 47th birthday to my beloved country, Malaysia. If asked me why I love Malaysia? The only reason I can think of is, peace and harmony. Most of the people that I've met across the country, have praise and admire the harmony in Malaysia. It's true! You can hardly find a country, that adapts well with all kind of races with all kind of religion. Even though our country is quite islamic, but did you know? We have the rights to choose whichever religion we want? and we can go on openly? It's amazing! too amazing! Likewise, our neighbour country, Singapore would not have been as harmony as us. There are still discrimination between the rights of chinese vs malays. So far, Malaysia has never yet been attacked any serious virus sickness, any major disaster nor any war! Hence, I'm proud to be a Malaysian because of it's peaceful and harmony environment.

Got my result for ACCA. It didn't went well. and I know I MUST work hard for the December exam. After the install project, I am going to start for it. I know, if I want, I can.

My nails are so weak. They keep pealing off especially everytime after I polish off the nail colours. I'm waiting for my nails to grow long for me to have a manicure. Btw, sales are gone! I didn't really buy much this time knowing that I've put on some weight. On the other hand, yesterday night while eating dinner with yk at 1-Utama, I bought this sun block protector from Shu Uemura. It's definately a great deal. Will be back there soon as my membership card redeemtion due soon.

Long entry can makes people yawn. It feels so nice to have my time back again so that I can start blogging here!!! I consider myself now FREE!! ha-ha. No more busy meetings..opss, come to think of it, this weekend will be another busy one! will be having my class+exam for Saturday(there goes my saturday), and will be attending a function on sunday noon(there goes my sunday daytime). Geeee... Nevertheless, I'm still free!!! Don't really understand why people called me 'busy girl'. *gee*

Just came back from dinner with yk, Willz and his new 'gf'? I'm happy for him to found someone. Hopefully, this time, he would appreciate her.
