AnalysisIn 1991, most of Midtown was assigned to Districts 4 and 9, with Riverview and part of North Maple Ridge assigned to 2 along with west and far south Tulsa, Highland Park assigned to 7, and Kendall-Whittier north of I-244 in District 3.District 4 changed little in the new plan. All of the new plans move Owen Park and Irving Neighborhoods from 4 to 1, and all move Riverview and North Maple Ridge from 2 to 4. District 9 lost territory south of 61st, but gained some precincts between Harvard and Yale from 7. Maple Ridge south of 21st remains in 9. Highland Park moves from 7 to 5, as most of District 7 moves south to accommodate tremendous population growth. Brookside successfully objected to being split between 2 and 9 and remains entirely in 9. |
