Going through the Lonely Planet on Japan, it's just so amazing to read about so many sights and sounds that Japan has to offer. I guess too many times, we stereotype Japan into our Anime, Geisha, Sony, Toyota, etc frame. Not to mention sushi and sashimi (this is for my food crazed wife).

It is said that any spot you dig in Japan, if you dig deep enough, you will hit a hot spring source. Sounds good to me...I would dig an outlet and start selling water to people to wash their cars. I mean, hey! If the water is good for the skin, surely it must be good for the cars too...yeah? (this is something I cannot confirm as yet. So if you decide to go collect spring water to wash your car, I will in no way be held liable for any unfortunate premature corrosion may take place on the body work of your precious)

But yeah, it sure is expensive travelling in and around Japan. Looks like we will be eating Ramen daily for the whole trip.
