Born from the dream to make a difference in the world by sharing love and joy through music, "Voices For Charity" (VFC) was founded in 1996 by Donna M. Herb. It began as an idea to produce and sell a recording of her church choir singing Christmas music to benefit a local charity.

Luckily, the vision did not stop there. Going beyond the church, the concept broadened in scope to feature a variety of talented musicians from all over the New Jersey area. Word spread quickly about the exciting work this group was doing and people began joining the organization.

A desire to heighten awareness and stimulate interest in various charities led to targeting a diversity of charities to benefit from "Voices For Charity" projects. In its first year, through product sales, concerts, and donations, VFC has given away over $30,000 to ten different charities within central New Jersey.

The ultimate dream is to have local chapters around the country as well as a national version of this exceptional and inspirational organization.

How You Can Help ...

There are many ways you can help "Voices For Charity." Basic membership is only $15.00 a year and supports the organization in its purpose. It includes our newsletter to keep you informed, plus entitles you to a discount on fundraising products such as our Christmas album "Voices For Charity presents Gifts of Music."

You can also help out by assisting with one of our concerts, writing an article for the newsletter, folding brochures, selling tickets, or volunteering on a committee. Contribute your talent in a variety of areas including artwork, charities, music, marketing, publicity, distribution, financial, legal, or production. We welcome your ideas, suggestions, talent, participation, and support! OR .. Consider becoming a Friend, Patron, Benefactor or Special Voice. There are additional benefits for these special level contributors (see membership application). Do you own a storefront? We are seeking retail partners to display our products. We are waiting to hear from YOU!!
