Core wound is Decapo's old black occultic metal -project Kult of Kali updated and refined as result of the transition/shift into a new phase in the mystic spiritual occultic awakening process. The awakening into pure void of consciousness/nothingness in the beginning of the year 2004 manifested as a greatly increased creativity in the form of black metal music. The shift in the perception of reality released a lot of energy and Decapo was "forced" to refine and raise his Kult of Kali -project into a whole new level. The majestic ascent of Kundalini-shakti turned into a divine descent towards the process of a deeper investigation of Being and existence. The whole material on the first demo of the Core wound was recorded in a couple of hours. It was a spontaneous expression of energy straight from the soul's bleeding heart. Musically the Core wound is very similar to traditional northern black metal, but Decapo decided to call it White-hot Metal. This term has basically nothing to do with christianity or nationalsocialism, it's a term taken from the terminology of the Waking Down awakening process as tribute to the some of the realizers of the modern and ancient times and all those who has guided Decapo in his occultic path of Self-realization and actualisation. |
