2000

While I was going along the main road (A421 ) I noticed a side entry THORN BETA 6 lantern ( two 2FT ( 600MM ) 40W FLUORESCENT tubes , 2 part RT P42 photocell ) along one of the sides roads ( BROOKLANE ) and it is on a 5M STANTON AND STANLEY concrete post .

THORN BETA 6 lantern is 618MM long ,191MM depth and the overall width is 171MM .

2002

 This year I went through it again and I stop to look round the village. Most of the lanterns along the sides roads are side entry THORN BETA 5 lanterns (35W SOX bulbs , 2 part RT P42 photocell ) some other lanterns , 1 side entry unknown fluorescent lantern ( with a discharge bulb in it ) and a lot of side entry THORN BETA 6 fluorescent lanterns . The 5M posts are metal and concrete . On the THORN BETA 6 fluorescent lanterns some of these have got another type of bowl on them .
