COOKHAM used to have a lot of THORN BETA 4 , THORN BETA 9 , THORN GAMMA 8 lanterns with mostly GLS bulbs .

During the 90s most of these lanterns have been changed with new ones . A lot of the new lanterns are URBIS ZX1 with SONT bulbs with NEMA socket photocells. There are some THORN GAMMA 6 , MIKE SMITH DESIGN lantern and D.W.WINDSOR lanterns.

YEAR 2003

Most of the cast iron posts have been changed now and there is about 2 THORN BETA 4 lanterns with GLS bulbs , about 3 THORN BETA 9 lanterns left and about 1 THORN GAMMA 8 lantern left that I seen .

HIGH STREET ( B4447 ) YEAR - MARCH 2003	5M HERITAGE post with a MIKE SMITH DESIGN WINDSOR AUTHORITY lantern with a SONE bulb ,glass refractor and a miniature 1 part photocell along the HIGH STREET.
HIGH STREET ( B4447 ) YEAR - MARCH 2003	Modern post with THORN BETA 4 lantern with GLS bulb with a time switch along the HIGH STREET.
ODNEY LANE YEAR - MARCH 2003	THORN BETA 4 lantern with GLS bulb with a 2 part photocell ( RTE P42 ) along the junction of ODNEY LANE / FERRY LANE . This light is on the top of a big wall.
FERRY LANE ( A4094 ) YEAR - MARCH 2003	5M HERITAGE post with a D.W.WINDSOR YORK SHORT PLAIN lantern with a MBF bulb with 2 part photocell.
SUTTON ROAD ( A4094 ) YEAR - MARCH 2003	5 M metal CU PHOSCO post with a side entry URBIS ZX1 lantern with a SONT bulb with a dished polycarbonate bowl and a NEMA socket photocell .
SUTTON ROAD ( A4094 ) YEAR - MARCH 2003	This old REVO cast iron post with a swan neck bracket with a THORN BETA 4 lantern got a glass refractor in it with a GLS bulb and in the base of the post is a time switch. It is not connected any more and the new light is working and it gives out white light. The new post is a 5 M CU PHOSCO metal post with a swan neck bracket with a top entry D.W.WINDSOR IFFERY lantern with a MBF bulb ? with miniature 1 part photocell.
SUTTON ROAD ( A4094 ) YEAR - MARCH 2003	This is a night time view of the above light . I had to lightern the photo to see the light.
WOODMOOR END YEAR - MARCH 2003	THORN GAMMA 6 lantern on a metal Alumininum post with a 2 part photocell ( RTE P42 ).
