1980S

 Along the HIGH STREET , there were 5M REVO metal posts with swan neck brackets with top entry open type THORN BETA 4 lanterns. These had MBF bulbs in them .

 1990s

Along the HIGH STREET all the lighting was changed , the new posts are 6M modern metal posts with post top CU PHOSCO P109 lanterns ( SON bulb , glass refractor , miniature 1 part photocell ) and the posts are painted black .

 VICTORIA STREET and some other roads had some new lights installed on the walls of buildings . The new lights are CU PHOSCO P111 lanterns ( integral gear , 70W SON bulb , glass refractor and a miniature 1 part photocell ) and these are on wall brackets .
