FRIARS WALK YEAR APRIL 2003	Top entry ELECO GR525 lantern (35w SOX bulb ) on Concrete Utilities ( CU PHOSCO ) Avenue 2D concrete post with a Arc 2D bracket . The Council put in a NEMA socket photocell on the side of the lantern . There is a lot of these along this road.

FROGMORE STREET YEAR APRIL 2003	8M metal post with a side entry GEC 8426 lantern ( LESS GEAR ) with a NEMA socket photocell .
FROGMORE STREET YEAR APRIL 2003	Wall mounted HERITAGE top entry D.W.WINDSOR STRAND lantern ( integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , ) and this is mounted at 6M . This has got a DIAMOND OPTIC reflector in it.  ( DIAMOND OPTIC is a trade mark of the D.W.WINDSOR LTD )
LANGDON STREET YEAR APRIL 2003	Top entry PHILIPS MI55 ? lantern on a telegraph post ( integral gear , NEMA socket photocell , 70W SON BULB ) and this is mounted at 5M . Its looks like the council Bought a Top entry PHILIPS MI50 lantern ( 35W SOX , integral gear , NEMA socket photocell ) and changed the control gear inside of it for a 70W SON BULB .
WESTERN ROAD ( B4635 ) YEAR APRIL 2003	8M metal posts with side entry AEI/BTH ? lanterns ( 90wSOX bulbs ) ,THORN ALPHA 3 , ELECO ( DAVIS ) GR100 lantern ( 90wSOX bulbs ) , PHILIPS MA 90 ( 90wSOX bulbs ) and these lanterns are less gear with NEMA socket photocells .
HIGH STREET ( B4635 ) YEAR APRIL 2003	8M HERITAGE metal post with a top entry D.W.WINDSOR STRAND lantern ( integral gear , reflector , SONT bulb , NEMA socket photocell ) .
HIGH STREET ( B4635 ) YEAR APRIL 2003	Wall mounted HERITAGE top entry D.W.WINDSOR STRAND lantern ( glass refractor , integral gear , SONT bulb , NEMA socket photocell ) and this is mounted at 8M .  I think most of the lanterns were installed in the late 80s because these have got glass refractors in them and in the early 90s they started putting new type of reflectors in them with horizontal SONT bulbs .
