MAGPLAENE STREET YEAR SEPT 1991

8 M metal posts with top entry unknown lanterns (90W SOX bulbs , less gear ) .In the early 90s these posts and lanterns were changed to 8M HERITAGE posts with HERITAGE lanterns.

BERE LANE (A361 ) YEAR AUG 1996

8 M metal posts with side entry DAVIS GR 102 lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs , integral gear , Nema socket photocells ) . DAVIS GR 102 lantern is the same as the DAVIS GR 150 lantern , but the DAVIS GR 150 lantern has no control gear in it and it is for a 135W SOX bulb. On these 8M posts the control boxes are half way high up on the posts. On these 8M posts the lanterns were the same as along MAGPLAENE STREET and in the early 90s these got changed to DAVIS GR 102 lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs , integral gear , Nema socket photocells ) . The replacement lanterns now are the PHILIPS MA 90 lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs , integral gear , Nema socket photocells ) . Along ST ROAD (A39 ) the streetlighting is the same as BERE LANE (A361 ) and these posts has got overhead wires on them.
