Installing Air Intake Pipe Number 1

From underneath the car install the black 90 degree neoprene hose to the turbo inlet using the hose clamp supplied. Don’t tighten anything at this time. Slide another hose clamp over the other end and leave loose. Angle it so it is pointing between the motor mount and the radiator. From the top with intake pipe # 1 feed it between the radiator and the motor mount down to the 90-degree Elbow. Insert the pipe into the rubber elbow. Align the bracket on the pipe with the bolt hole that is just below the valve cover, located on the block on the driver’s side of the block, see picture below. Start the bolt supplied and finger tighten. Align and move the Rubber elbow so the best fit occurs. Tighten down the bracket bolt. If the intake pipe needs adjustment you may bend the bracket for clearances. Next, tighten down the hose clamps. Install the K&N air filter.
