Installing exhaust header
Loosen the wave bracket bolts that mount to the engine which held your old header in place. Slide the header and flange on to the turbo outlet and bolt the flange up loose. Line up the turbo header bracket with the old wave bracket and bolt them together loose. Next, with the header aligned with you cars old exhaust pipe, measure the distance between the end of the Turbo header and the flange of the existing tail pipe. Add 2 inches to the measurement and cut your old header flange off. Slip the piece you have just cut off into the new header and align with the old flange. Next, start tightening the turbo header flange bolts up, make sure you tighten them with an even space between the flange and the turbo outlet. Tighten up the wave bracket bolts to the Turbo header bracket, keep this routine up until all comes into place. Install the supplied u-bolt to hold the 2 pipes together until you can weld it. Really I use the u bolt all the time because it is very easy to run the car uncorked at the drag strip. Just don't tighten it up to the point that it distorts the piping.
