My car 3.8l v6 supercharged engine rear wheel drive independent rear suspension 4 wheel disc abs brakes computer controlled suspension (ARC) 1/4 mile : 15.5 0-60mph : 7.0 road holding: .84g top speed 5-speed : 145mph top speed auto : 135mph This car was very advanced for its time.. and totally against what was going on...it was a rear wheel drive sedan in the time that everyone wanted to go FWD. It had Independent Rear Suspension , Auto Ride Control , ABS brakes , a supercharged intercooled fuel injected engine....all this in 1989.This car was designed to be among BMW and so.... too bad ford quality wasn't up to the task.. although the Thunderbird SC was better in every performance aspect against BMW.... the exterior was ahead of its time.... but the interior although a very good concept and very comfortable it was a bad joke between a BMW and a Mustang.... But this is a great car power everything great handling and enough power to outrun most cars on the road, cop don't give a second look , great sleeper still looks elegant and kind of newer ; mine is 90 and most people think its a 95-94 .
