Parts Used: Aerial parts.
Preparations & Dosage, Infusion: Pour a cup of boiling water onto 1-2 teaspoons of the dried herb and leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes.  When feverish it should be drunk hourly.
Preparations & Dosage, Tincture: Take 2-4 milliliters of the tincture 3 times daily.

-(noun): a sedative injection used during Voyages of Acquisition to render a captured barbarian unconscious.

Kanda
-(noun): a plant which grows in desert regions of Gor. It's roots are extremely toxic, even poisonous, but the leaves can be rolled and formed into strings which are chewed or sucked to produce a stimulant effect

Lavenia
Parts Used: Flowers
Preparations & Dosage, Infusion: Pour a cup of boiling water onto 1 teaspoon of the dried herb and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
Preparations & Dosage, Tincture: 1-3 milliliters to be taken by mouth for pain.

Lyptus
Parts Used: Leaves and the oil distilled from them.
Preparations & Dosage, Infusion: 1-2 teaspoons of the leaves to a cup of boiling water.  Let infuse for 10-15 minutes.
Preparations & Dosage, Tincture: 1 milliliter three times per day.
External Use: Put 5 drops of oil in a hot bath or 6 drops in boiling water, put towel over head and inhale the vapors.

Matchweed: An anticoagulant.

Sajel
-(noun): a drug which causes harmless pustules to erupt on the body; in combination with gieron it reproduces the symptoms of the Bazi plague.

Thyme

Tospit
-(noun): small, wrinkled, yellowish-white peachlike fruit, about the size of a plum, which grows on the tospit bush, patches of which are indigenous to the drier valleys of the eastern Cartius. They are bitter but edible, and are sometimes served sliced and sweetened with honey, and in syrups, and to flavor, with their juices, a variety of dishes. They are also carried on sea voyages to prevent nutritional deficiencies. They almost always have an odd number of seeds, except for the rare, long-stemmed ones.

Tubers
Grow in the falls.  When dried, crushed and mixed with water, they make a good pack and aid in stopping external bleeding.

Yellow powder
Concentrated Brak bush.  Used as a laxative, it induces diahhrea.

Zingiber
Used for nausea.
