School Politics

I went and did it.  I volunteered to be the class representative for the Parent-Teacher Association.  Is it pregnancy hormones or am I really that bored?  A little of both, I guess.  But I was involved in Meg's school back in the US and was always a PTA member, so this isn't completely new.  I am not entirely sure what the position will entail at this school, so I may end up regretting my hasty words.  Well, I will do my best for as long as this pregnancy will allow it.

I am still trying to get information on becoming a La Leche League Leader and starting a group here in Istanbul.  So far it's slow going, with posts in their forums and emails sent to several people.  Perserverence!
