TURKEY HUNGER STRIKE SOLIDARITY PROTEST

Public vigil/protest in Waterloo Place, Derry @ 2.00pm (sharp) against this weeks brutal and murderous attacks by the fascist Turkish regime. The regime launched a sustained violent armed attack on the shanty town of Kucukarmutlu in Istanbul. We are now aware that six people - five of who are hunger strikers or death-fasters and one helper - have been confirmed killed in the attacks.
The people of Derry have continually expressed their support for the Turkish hunger strikers in their just fight for political status, freedom and justice. The Derry Committee in Solidarity with Hunger Strikers in Turkey (Derry) call upon all socialists, republicans and trade unionists to turn out in support of the hunger strikers continued resistance and to publicly condemn the fascist Turkish regime latest attack.
