HAPPY BIRTHDAY CONNER!

Once again, Wendy set a new standard on the local social scene here in Malaysia with a rip-roaring jungle themed birthday party for Conner.  Needless to say, all of Conner's buddies filled up on cake, ice cream and REAL KOOL-AID!  Thanks to Grandma Fowler for the KOOL-AID.  We are the envy of the neighborhood.  Everybody wants some of our real U.S. KOOL-AID!

Conner's party started off with lots of games - like ping pong ball blowing!

Conner was so excited to have "HIS" birthday party.  For weeks he had been asking his mom when "HIS" birthday party was going to be.  On the morning of "HIS" birthday, Wendy set out the presents.  I told her I thought it was cruel to make Conner look at his presents on the table for the entire day.  But, Conner took care of that problem when he started to open them and Wendy had to move them out of his reach.  Here we see Conner warming up to blow out the candles on his tiger cake.

Trying to keep a touch of unpredictability in the neighborhood, Wendy planned a special event.  The party ended with a elephant peanut hunt and a tiger parade!  I'll bet the neighborhood landscaping ladies had a good laugh at us this day!

The party finally came to an end and the kids all lined up for one last picture.  By the time we made it back through the front door, Conner was already talking about Christmas.  Boy...its gonna be a LONG couple of months!
