This is the cove on Perhentian Island where we stayed.
Sunset across the lagoon in front of our cottage.
We took a small (as we later found out illegal) boat over to an uninhabitted island called Pulau Rawa.  Rawa Island has a sheltered cove where the coral is abundant and undisturbed by man.  This is from the beach on Rawa Island where we were snorkeling.
To the left is another view of the cove we went to on Rawa Island to snorkel.  The beach was perfect.  The water was crystal clear and very refreshing.  Evan and Conner enjoyed spending the day in the water with Aunt Kary...  especially Evan who latched onto Aunt Kary's arm and let her drag him all around the coral field to look at fish.
Above are two pictures of the jungle trek mentioned by Aunt Kary in her article. Notice how big the trees next to Evan are!  For those who may be wondering...we were told by the guy at the hotel before we left that nothing bad ever happens on the jungle trek.
After a (VERY) long jungle trek....Kary treated Wendy to a relaxing foot rub under the shade of the palms on the beach.
