I thought that we were friends
At least that’s what you said
Friends stick together
Until the very end
But you were just fooling
How dumb could I have been
To think that we were
To be friends until the end.

Why did you lie to me?
And to everyone else.
Especially if what you said
Would hurt my boyfriend and myself
What you did was wrong
And I hope that you admit
That you were dishonest
And that you were not a true friend.

So now I know the truth
And I heard all the scoop
I don’t want to fight
Or start WWIII
But tell me one more thing
That I do not understand
The reason why you did
Lie to me and my man.
