Selfish

I have caused so much pain,
I have caused so much anger.
And all because I’m selfish.

My parents are crying,
And my boyfriend is heartbroken.
All because I was selfish.

If I knew ahead of time,
Of all the pain and anger that I have caused.
I would of never been selfish.

All of this has happened because of me,
If only I had known and thought.
But I didn’t.

So now I’m left to think of all that I have done,
For the rest of my life.
And I can’t ever forget it.

For this has scarred me forever.
Will the pain ever go away?
Or will it stay?

Whatever it may be,
I will have to put up with it.
And never forget it.

All because I was Selfish.
