Andrea, 01-15-03: Official Site Updated
The Tuuli.Com site has finally been updated, and it looks great. The layout was completely redone, and it's better than ever. Go check it out if you haven't already, right here. As always, you can find the link in the links section of this site as well.
In other news, the ChartAttack Year End Poll was wrapped up, and sadly, Tuuli didn't manage to win anything. Here We Go came in 13th for Favorite Canadian album, however. As well, ex-Tuuli guitarist, Dawn Mandarino, managed to place fifth in the Sexiest Canadian Female category. For full results of the poll, check out the list here.
Andrea, 01-07-03: New Dates
Two more dates have just been added to the Shows section. It looks like Tuuli will be fitting in two more Ontario dates in January before heading off to Europe. They'll be performing on January 9 and 11 in Ottawa and Toronto, respectively.
Andrea, 01-02-03: UK Tour Dates
All the dates for the UK tour have been announced, and they're now up in the Shows section of the site. The girls will be playing just about every day in February, so if you live in the United Kingdom, you should try to check them out at least one of those dates.
Andrea, 12-10-02: Lineup Change
Tuuli has just added a drummer to their lineup to replace Alison. Her name is Naomi, and she should be making her first appearance with the band when they start their mini-tour in the USA. As soon as I get a picture, I'll but updating the site layout yet again.
Andrea, 12-02-02: New Dates
Several new show dates have been added to the Shows section of the site. The information I have is still a little sketchy, but I'll try and have more information soon.
Andrea, 12-01-02: Vote for Tuuli!
Tuuli has been nominated for several different categories in the Chartattack Year End Poll. Head to the site to vote now. The girls are up for Best Canadian Album, both Claire and Jenny were nominated for Sexiest Canadian Woman, and Jenny was also up for Best Female Haircut.
Andrea, 11-20-02: Future Shop Show
Tuuli will be playing a set this Friday, at the new Future Shop in Hamilton. If you would like more information on this show, check out the shows section.
Andrea, 11-13-02: The Flairs
Ex-Tuuli memebers Dawn Mandarino and Jen Foster have started a new band called tThe Flairs out west. You can check out their website here. The address will be added to the links section, but no other news about them will be posted on this site. I just wanted to inform anyone interested. There will hopefully be more sites dedicated to this band in the near future.
Andrea, 11-02-02: Summer Song
The Summer Song video has been released on Much Music, and it is amazing. If you don't get the channel, or haven't had a chance to see it yet, head over to Linus Entertainment to check it out.
Andrea, 10-28-02: Good News and Bad News
The good news? The Summer Song video has been completed, and
it should be aired soon. The bad news? If you haven't heard
already, Dawn Mandarino and Jen Foster have left Tuuli. Tuuli
already has a new guitarist, Jen Blackwood, and drummer, Alison.
Expect to see them in the upcoming video.
