From one side of the circle, anyone could see that Gourry and Xelloss were whispering to eachother; Zelgadiss could hear them with his ears anyways. And on the other side, the girls looked at eachother nervously-- except Lina.
"Come on, this will be fun!" she smacked the back of Amelia, making her fall on her face.
"Lina-san! Be more careful with royalty!" demanded Filia.
"What?! Amelia's my friend! So I can treat her like one!"
"That's how you treat friends?" asked the coughing princess. "I feel sorry for myself..."
Before Lina could answer, the overly-excited trickster started handing out the wine bottles.
"One for you! And one for you! And..."
"Xelloss, where's your bottle?" asked Amelia, only noticing five.
"I drank mine already!" he held up a large empty bottle and chuckled. "See?"
Amelia fell over.
"Come on, come on. You guys can drink yours now!" he encouraged.
"We're not a monster like you, Xelloss." protested Filia.
"Yeah, we can't drink that much that fast without being sick." agreed Lina.
Zelgadiss and Gourry threw their empty bottles at Xelloss; he caught them.
"We just did." smirked Zel.
Lina fumed with anger. "Fine! I'll show you...!" she lifted her bottle, and gulp after gulp, she drank. Half way through she paused, breathing frantically.
"Give up so soon?" asked Xelloss.
"NO!" she growled, and drank more and more. With wine dripping down her cheek, she stopped and handed the empty bottle to the grinning trickster.
"That wasn't bad, Lina!" congradulated Gourry, trying to hold her up.
"Don't worry. You wont stay that unbalanced for too long." confirmed the chimera.
"If Lina can do it....!" stood Filia. Everyone stared at her in a bit of surprise. The dragon-girl lifted her red wine and started gulping.
"Wow.... She's really fast..." admired Amelia.
"I bet you could be faster." smiled Zelgadiss.
Amelia knew that was supposed to flatter her, but she also knew there was no way she could be faster than Filia. "Yeah right." she disagreed.
Zel sweat-dropped.
Filia's gasp for breath proved the termination of her wine.
Xelloss clapped. "Filia!! I never knew you could drink that well...!"
"Hmph! You don't know anything about me!" she replied coldly.
"Really?" Xelloss glared at her.
"..........Y-Yeah........." she replied toppling over.
"OKAY!" smiled the monster. "Now the only one left not drunk is....." moving to face her, "AMELIA!!!!!" the princess shriveled up in a corner. Xelloss knew there was only one way. "Zel, encouragement please?"
"I usually don't take order from monsters, but I think Amelia should have fun. Amelia?" he said kneeling before her. "Why are you so afraid?"
"Zel--Zelgadiss-san....! Why are you acting like this....?"
"I'm drunk!" he smiled while holding up his middle and index finger.
"Oh...." Amelia had a blue aura around her. Depression....!
"Amelia, think of it this way. If you do anything "wrong", then you won't remember it tomorrow!"
"Why did you put "quotation marks" around "wrong"....?"
"Forget it." he shrugged it off. "Come on, Amelia. We need to have this kind of fun!"
'Zelgadiss is sure different drunk....' thought the princess. 'I might as well....'
"Okay." she agreed.
"Alright!" Zel turned to face Xelloss, who was already holding up Amelia's bottle. "Thank you." smiled Zel as he took it from him.
Amelia gulped, and looked at Zelgadiss. He was smiling like a little boy who just got a truckload of chocolate.... cute! Blushing, the princess started to drink.
Xelloss, Gourry, Lina, Filia, AND Zel all started cheering her on.
"CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!" they cheared as she finished it off. Luckily the bottle was smaller than the others.
"Alright Amelia!" grinned Lina.
"Now we can finally get the game going!" smiled Xelloss.
"But before we start this game, let's plan out the rest of the night, ok? I don't like not finding out what's going to happen next." sighed Lina.
"Good idea." agreed Zel, carrying the swirly-eyed Amelia over his shoulder. She looked cute being in her PJ's.
"Alright. I'll show you our plan." Xelloss and Gourry took out a piece of paper from their pockets, which both said this:

"Well that sure is detailed." mumbled the red-haired sorceress.
"Don't you just love it?!" smiled Gourry.
Everyone looked at him with black dots for eyes.
"Listen. Me and Gourry are the only ones who know exactly what we're doing. Just trust us!"
Filia laughed. "Trust a monster.... Hahaha!"
"Can we just start the game then?!" asked Lina.
Everyone nodded.
"Okay! Get in a circle, please!" smiled Gourry.
Sitting in a perfect circle-- Xelloss faced Lina. Amelia, beside Lina faced Gourry. And Zel beside Gourry and Lina faced Filia.
Confused? No, not really. ^_^ you'll get it if you draw out a picture....! ^_~
Xelloss pulled out an empty wine bottle, and placed it in the very middle of everyone.
"Lina?" he asked. "Since its your birthday, Spin the Bottle.
The girls all fell over, and the guys just sweat-dropped.
"Ano....." started Zelgadiss. "I don't think they like this game..."
Struggling, Lina slowly got up. "Did you just say... Spin the Bottle...?"
Xelloss, Gourry, and Zel nodded.
Silence...........................................................
"THERE IS NO WAY I'M PLAYING SPIN THE BOTTLE WITH A MONSTER LIKE XELLOSS!" screamed the furious Filia.
"THERE IS NO WAY I'M PLAYING SPIN THE BOTTLE, PERIOD!" agreed Lina.
"I...." started Amelia. She looked at the dracula-toothed Filia and Lina, and turned to the smiling guys. "I think they don't want to admit they want to play."
*THUMP* Filia and Lina fell over.
"Thank you for admitting it for them, Amelia!" laughed Xelloss. "Come on, Lina. How about I give you.... food for a week!" he waited. "No? Then how about........... $10,000.00!" Lina's ears popped out as she looked up with starry eyes.
"Ten... Thousand... Dollars...........?" she whispered in disbelief.
"Yup!"
"Umm.. Xelloss....? Are you sure you have that kind of money?" asked Gourry.
"Of course!"
After a lot of thinking, Lina sat up straight.
"I'll do it."
Before the guys could show their appreciation...
"BUT!!! I have some rules."
Xelloss listened carefully. "Go on."
"No kiss for the same sex, only a hand shake."
Everyone nodded.
"First time: kiss on the cheek. Second time: peck on the lips. Third time....." she shivered at the thought.
"French kiss." finished off the trickster.
"Y--Yeah...."
Everyone but Xelloss started to blush.
"What about the fourth time?" asked Gourry, making people blush more.
"Let's decide when the time comes." suggested the red Zel.
"Good idea." agreed Lina.
"Okay! Lina?" started Xelloss, handing her the bottle.
The poor sorceress took the bottle, and placed it on the carpeted floor. She nervously looked at the people staring, and shivered.
"$10,000.00.......!" smiled Xelloss.
"You know, Xelloss. That's not that much if you think about it...." snickered the golden-dragon.
Xelloss' eyes widened.
"YEAH XELLOSS!" agreed Amelia and Lina chorusly.
"Okay... how about $12,500.00...?" he sweat-dropped as Lina continued to growl.
"No way...!"
"13,000.00? 13,500.00? 14,000.00????" Xelloss was now picking change out of his pockets trying desperately to look if he had any more money.
"Why do you want Lina to play so bad anyways, Xelloss?" asked Filia.
He paused in counting, and turned to face her with an evil grin. "Why...? You jealous....?"
"J-JEALOUS!!! You've gotta be kidding me!" shrieked Filia.
"You're blushing." mumbled Zelgadiss.
Filia covered her face and lay on the floor shivering.
Xelloss laughed and paid his attention back to Lina. Her arms were still crossed.
"Alright. How about I give each girl $15,000.00...?" he smiled.
*everyone falls over*
"EACH?!?!" shrieked Gourry.
"Oh so you want some too? Hmmm..." wondered the trickster. "I guess I could arrange that. And considering you're with Lina.. she'll end up getting double the amount! What do you say, Lina?" his eyes were wide and his sharp teeth grinned quite scarily.....
Lina's eyes glittered. "$30,000.00......!"
"Mmmmhmmm...." nodded Xelloss.
"For us too...?" asked Filia and amelia hugging eachother. Also with starry eyes.
"Amelia, sure.... but Filia....?" he wondered.
"Xelloss-san! That's not--"
"Its an acception." he interrupted.
Filia smiled and sat back down in the circle.
"Don't forget us!" demanded Zel. "I expect payment first thing tomorrow!"
"Alright.. alright.... Can we play now??" whined Xelloss.
"You'll only pay me if I play, right?" asked Lina.
"That's right." confirmed the monster, still grinning.
"Okay!" she sat high and ready with the wine bottle in her hand. "I'll go!"
Finally glad that the game started, Xelloss lay back against the couch they were by. He watched the sorceress carefully.
Lina, sweating like crazy, closed her eyes and spun the bottle.
Spinning, spinning, spinning......
Everybody's hearts were racing. Who would it be? Gourry? Zelgadiss?? Xelloss??? Or maybe just a girl! Everybody watched the spinning bottle as it started to slow down.
That's when the Slayers all moved closer.
Slower... slower... and even slower......
Clockwise... Past Lina... past Amelia... past Filia... near Xelloss.. slowing... NO no! Its still going.... past Xelloss.. past Gourry... slowing.. slowing.... NO! Passed Zel... and it stops back at Lina.
Everyone sat back an cought their racing hearts.
"Phew! So what happens now?" asked Amelia.
"Lina spins again!" smiled Gourry.
"Again?!" the sorceress shrieked.
"Well let me see...." Xelloss suddenly pulled out a book on party games. "Spin the Bottle... Spin the Bottle.... AHA! Here it is! It says that you do, in fact, have to spin again!" he smiled.
"Ugh!" moaned Lina.
"Lina-san." Filia moved to her ear. "If you do it quick, you can get it over with...!" she whispered.
Lina nodded, but still felt uncomfortable. "Here goes...." with a deep breath, she once again spinned the bottle.
Everybody seemed to hold their breath.... again.
It must have went around ten times before it finally stopped. Well, it felt like 20, but that doesn't count.
"Awwww! That's no fun!" whined Xelloss.
Lina's spin stopped on Filia.
"You sure are lucky, Lina! It's rare to get yourself, then a girl!" smiled Amelia.
"I guess!" she stuck her thumb up at Amelia, and stretched out her hand to Filia.
Filia was about to melt, but she shook her hand, and picked up the bottle.
"This will be interesting." Commented Zelgadiss.
Amelia eyed him questioningly.
Filia took her own advice, and quikly spun the bottle with her heart still racing....
It spun about five times until it started to slow....
Past Gourry... Past Zel.... Lina... Amelia.. herself... slowed..... NO! Not Xelloss!
Filia's heart skipped a beat when it passed the trickter, and even though Xelloss still kept his smile, his hair shaded his eyes.... You could tell he was disappointed.
Past Gourry... NO!!! .... it stopped!
Lina shrieked. "G-GOURRY!!!!!!!!!!!"
The swordsman scratched the back of his head while blushing madly. "Is this good or bad...?
"Well well! Come on Filia!" encouraged the "faking" trickster. "You have to kiss Gourry now!!"
Filia could sense Xelloss' disappointment, and smiled. "Okay Xelloss."
Everyone's eyes widened.
"Why's everyone so shocked? It's just a game, right?" she crawled across the circle to the blushing Gourry.
Xelloss watched to make sure she actually touched his cheek. And Lina fumed with Amelia and Zelgadiss trying to hold her back.
Filia moved closer, and moved the shocked Gourry's blond hair aside. She leaned in and could sense that Xelloss was getting angrier.
The trickster was indeed upset. I wonder why.....? hehehe.... *ahem*
He was watching very closely and could even smell Filia's perfume. But that didn't calm him down. He growled quietly......
Gourry's eyes were still wide with wonder. He felt Filia's hand move his hair aside, and quickly felther soft lips. That's when he fell over from Lina's punch.
Xelloss was now arms-crossed leaning against the couch with a frown, while Filia was smiling greatly beside him.
Gourry was now unconcious beside Lina, switching places with Zelgadiss who was now across from Amelia.
"Isn't this game getting a little out of hand....?" asked Zelgadiss.
"NO!" yelled everyone but him and Gourry.
With his head hung, he replied a quick, "Sorry."
"It's Gourry's turn." started Amelia.
"How can he play if he's unconcious?" asked Zel.
It seemed that they were the only two talking.
"Xelloss?" Amelia asked.
"What?!" he snapped.
Amelia crawled back a step.
"I'll heal Gourry so he can play." sighed Lina, finally speaking.
"Why?" asked Filia now interested.
"It's not his fault the bottle landed on him. And it's not your fault either, Filia." she shrugged. "Besides." Now dracula-toothed.... "If Gourry doesn't play, then I wont be able to get the other $15,000.00!" She immediately shoock Gourry awake.
Besides the big bump on his head with a bandaid, he was okay. "Huh? Its my turn?" he asked.
"Don't get too excited!" warned Lina.
Still excited, Gourry spinned the bottle.
Even Xelloss was back on his feet. He wanted to see who it landed on... just like everyone else.
Past Lina... Amelia... Filia... Xelloss... Zel... himself... started slowing.... past Lina... slower.. slower... and.... OH!!! AND LINA GETS PASSED FOR AMELIA!
"M-Me....?" gulped Amelia.
"Come on, come on! Hurry up! Hurry up!" smiled the regular trickster.
Gourry crawled over to Amelia, and gave the blushing princess a quick peck on the cheek.
Lina kept her place on the floor, as Amelia slowly took the bottle. Lina was madly playing with her hair..... and fooled around with light spells.
"Spin, Amelia, Spin!" encouraged Filia.
"F-Filia....?"
"That's right, spin!"
'Right... she's drunk.....' Amelia thought.
"Good luck, Amelia!" smiled Gourry.
Zelgadiss' chest was racing, and so was Amelia's.
She spinned. Fast. Fast. Fast. Slowing... Slowing.... Slower.... slower.... Past Xelloss... past Gourry... Lina.. herself... slowing greatly..... slowed by Filia... Xelloss...
She gulped.
NO! Not Xelloss! It landed on......
"AHAHAA! What a PERFECT MATCH!" laughed Xelloss. "Come on, now, Amelia! Kiss your lover!!! AHAHA---"
*THUMP* Amelia punched him in the gut, but still blushed.
"That hurt...." chocked the trickster, as Filia and Lina kept on laughing.
Gourry apparently started to tickle Lina....
Amelia started to move towards Zelgadiss.
"WAIT!!!" interrupted the trickster with a loud yell.
Everyone paused.
....
......"I forget..."
Everyone falls over.
"WAIT!!!" interrupted the trickster again. "Amelia! This is your second time doing something! You have to kiss Zel on the lips! Not the cheek!" he chuckled.
"The LIPS?!?!" shrieked the princess.
"Yup!"
"Isn't that a little unfair, Xelloss?" asked Filia.
He glared back at her. "Why? Are you jealous?"
"NO IM NOT JEALOUS!!! STOP SAYING THAT!"
Amelia looked down at the floor, and then at Zelgadiss.
He wasn't looking at her, but he was blushing.
'I shouldn't do this... I can't do this..' thought the princess, as her eyes started to water; her gaze still on the chimera.
Zelgadiss thought deeply, and looked at Amelia with a sweet sweet smile....
Amelia quickly smiled back and moved closer to him. With her eyes full of care, she held his hard face with her soft hands.
Zelgadiss immediately softened his eyes at the softness of her touch... he wondered if he would ever feel it again... The chimera hesitated to move, afraid his rough skin would hurt her... he just waited.
Reading Zel's mind, Amelia decided she should just kiss him quickly. Yeah, a peck.... that's all...
She moved closer to him... and closed her blue eyes as Zelgadiss did the same. Still holding Zel's cheek, Amelia leaned in further and met his lips.... slowly.. and softly.... and she noticed they didn't feel rock at all. All she felt was care...
Zelgadiss turned red, but didn't move away.
"OOOOOOOOOOO!!!! LOOKIE HERE!" joked Lina.
"I THOUGHT I SAID A PECK!" laughed Xelloss.
"Come on now, guys...!" sweat-dropped Filia. "We should go on with the game now....!"
Amelia heard them, but didn't want to let go of Zel. 'He's such a cool guy...' she thought. 'If only I could do this more often....'
With that she slowly moved away, slightly opening her eyes.
Zelgadiss slowly opened his too, and looked at her satisfied, but still blushing like a kid. amelia felt her face was the same, so she smiled a little laugh.
Unfortunately, Amelia and Zel didn't have that much privacy.... Lina, Gourry, Xelloss, and Filia were all towering above them.
Lina and Filia grabbed Amelia and pulled her off to the side, while Zelgadiss was grabbed by Xelloss and Gourry.
"Well? did you like it?" whispered Lina in excitement.
"Was it your first time?" asked Filia also barely jumping up and down.
Across the room..
"Zelgadiss?" asked the grinning trickster. "Did you enjoy your first kiss....?"
Gourry just smiled, while Zel kept blushing.
Surprisingly, he stopped looking like a radish almost immediately, and smiled at Xelloss and Gourry. He made them move in closer.
"You wanna know what she tastes like?" he whispered excitedly. Yes, Zelgadiss whispered excitedly.
Xelloss nodded, while Gourry sweat-dropped.
"Well..." started the chimera. He paused.
"Well.....?" continued the impatient trickster.
Zelgadiss chuckled. "Okay." he laughed. "That's a secret!"
Gourry and Xelloss fell over, which caught the girls' attention.
Zel noticed, and waved in their direction with a grin.
The girls happily waved back, and got back in their circle; Filia and Lina dragged Gourry and Xelloss in.
"Zelgadiss' turn." smiled Filia.
"Right...." he replied a little shakily. It would be his second time, so he would have to kiss someone on the lips.... unless the person would be a guy... Zelgadiss hoped so.
He spinned. Past Lina.. slower... past Amelia... even slower... NOPE! NOT Filia... and.....!
Xelloss jumped up with a cheer! "ZELGADISS!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!"
Without warning, the trickster crawled up to Zel and gave him a kiss on the lips......!
Everyone (but Zel): "XELLOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
He looked innocently at them. "What...?"
"I KNEW IT!! You're GAY! Aren't you?!" screamed Filia.
He winked at his awaiting acquaintences. "That's a secret!"

After a pause... *THUMP* They still fall over.
Poor Zelgadiss is trying to wash his mouth with pepsi; the closest beverage.
"Well! It's my turn!!!" grinned the trickster. He immediately picked up the empty bottle, and gave it a great big spin! Spin.... spin... spin..... around.. and around... and around.....
STOPS!!!! And who is it................?????????????? LINA!!!!
Lina Inverse. The red-haired sorceress.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" she screamed.
"Hey....! Is it really that bad to be kissed by a guy like me?"
(All you Xelloss fans must be dying to be in Lina's place)
"It's only a cheeck kiss, Lina." sighed Gourry.
Pulling herself together, Lina nods. "Just hurry up before I change my mind..."
"Fine with me." shrugged Xelloss. He disappeared, re-appeared before Lina, and disappeared as soon as he re-appeared back at the couch.
Everyone's eyes were wide.
"Your turn, Lina." he smiled.
Lina wondered.... is it right for Xelloss to do a kiss that quick...? OH WELL!! She shrugged, and considered herself lucky.
"SPIN SPIN SPIN!! WHO WILL IT BE? YOU OR ME? SPIN SPIN SPIN!!!" sang Lina. "SPIN SPIN SPI-- damn."
The bottle stopped at Xelloss.
He smiled evily. That's too much of a coincedence, ne? What will Lina do now?
That's what eveyone but Xelloss was thinking, as they eyed her suspiciously.
Her eyes were shaded, but she was determined to get her money....
"Xelloss...?" Lina demanded.
"Yes?" he replied appeareing infront of her.
"Make it as quick as before."
"Yes Ma'am." in a flash, he was back at the couch with the empty bottle.
Still suspicious, everyone now wondered if he actually did kiss her.
Note to readers: He did, but pretty darn fast.
Sighing, Lina fell on her back.
"See? Being kissed by me isn't that bad....!" smiled Xelloss sweetly.
He spinned. They all waited. If a girl got this..... then... he would have to.....
Zelgadiss watched with a smirk. Gourry watched worried... and the girls didn't want to watch. Only Filia didn't cover her eyes.
She watched as it passed Gourry... Lina... slowed greatly... slowed impossibly... but passed Amelia.... and slowed... stopping.. stopping......
Filia eyes stopped. The bottle stopped. And so did everyone's breathing.
It landed on Filia.
