"How many times do I have to tell you!" yelled Lina.
"It's not my fault!" cried Gourry with watery eyes.
"Of course it isn't! It's not your fault you're as dense as a rock! You don't even know how to START dancing!" Lina towered over him angrily.
"Come on Lina." interrupted Amelia. "Zelgadiss-san and I can't dance either."
Lina fumed. "Do I have to teach you ALL?!?! HERE!" She pushed the three to sit on the stage infront of her. "WATCH-- AND LEARN!" she added glaring at Gourry; he nodded hesitantly.

Guitar ringed in the Slayers ears and the song made a smile appear on their faces.
Lina stood silently out of lack of confidence, but blushing, she started to dance.
*guitar* She pushed her hands high into the air, and moved with the sound of the drum's bass. She twirled and whirled, and moved her feet excitedly. The fact that her body showed her movements wildly, and blew her hair with the rapid movements made Gourry and Amelia bob their heads and hit their feet against the wall.
Zelgadiss watched her feet, and wondered if he remembered how to break dance. Staring at the way Lina danced, and the movement of her arms and legs made him start to remember. Faintly.
By the time the singer started singing, Amelia was already up on her feet and copying Lina. Almost exactly same, which was quite frightening, but possible.... (I think.)
Gourry smiled greatly and laughed with excitement. Zelgadiss also flashed a sweet smile, as the lights turned multi-coloured all over again.
"Ahahah! This is so cool!" laughed Amelia. Her smile was so full of happiness, that anyone around her would feel happy.
After all, whoever you smile to will smile back, right?
"I can dance! I can dance!" she cheered, running over to the 'uh-oh' looking Zelgadiss.
She twirled once, twice, three times and on the fourth...! Fell dizzily into Zel's lap making him blush and pick her up to sit beside him.
"Are you okay?" he asked with a little laugh from the dizziness in the princess' eyes.
"Yeah, I'm fine." she mumbled. After her eyes twirled about seven times, she shook her head and grabbed Zel. "Zel! Zel! You have to dance! You have to!" she shook him hard.
"Amelia..! I can't dance if I'm dizzy!" he protested.
The princess let go and chuckled. "Hehe... sorry."
They both stood up and watched Gourry move sloppily around trying to dance. Poor guy...
The sight of Gourry failing to dance made Zelgadiss lose his confidence.
"Come on Gourry! No! Don't put your foot there! Ugh! Who cares! Just feel the music! No, not like that! You can't literally feel music...! Aww!! STUPID!"
Zelgadiss sweat-dropped.
"Come on Zelgadiss-san! I know you can do it! You're so cool!" encouraged Amelia.
Zelgadiss thought for a moment. He could twirl on his head, or made any contact with his hair and the ground; that would result in a broken floor.... So he decided to ask for gloves.
"Gloves? Why gloves?" asked the curious Amelia.
"Do you have any?" repeated the chimera.
"Uh... Well... let me ask Lina and Gourry." she turned and walked away but looked over her shoulder wondering what Zel was up to. All she saw was him jumping and kicking his feet from side to side; Amelia giggled.
"Lina-san. Gourry-san. Do you have gloves that Zelgadiss can use?"
"Gloves?!" the two repeated.
"Yeah. Gloves."
Lina was curious. "Why does he want gloves...?"
Amelia couldn't answer, because she didn't know herself.
"Do we want to know why he wants gloves?" asked Gourry. Lina glared at him.
"What would he want with gloves now....?" Lina thought aloud. She slapped her fists together. "He's going to BREAK DANCE!!!" she cheered.
Zelgadiss sweat-dropped in the near distance.
"Break dance...? What's that?" asked Gourry.
Lina's mood changed immediately.
"I'm not to clear about it either, Lina." admitted Amelia.
"Well maybe not, but I am! This will be so cool!!!" jumped Lina.
Zelgadiss sweat-dropped even more when Lina and friends ran up to him.
"Zelgadiss?! Can you really brake dance?" asked Amelia.
"What moves do you know?" asked Gourry.
"Do you two even know what it is?" replied Zel with a sigh.
Amelia and Gourry looked at eachother and back at Zel shaking their heads to a 'No'.
Before Zelgadiss could explain--
"Don't bother explaining, Zel. I'll just ask Xelloss for gloves you can use." Lina ran off towards Xelloss and Filia, and the other three watched as the lights changed the colour of her clothing.
"Xelloss! Xelloss! Xelloss!" yelled Lina out of breath. The trickster looked up from watching Filia at his seat, and smiled.
"Yes, Lina-san?"
"Do *breath* you *breath* have *breath* gloves for Zelgadiss?" she asked.
"Of course!" he snapped his fingers and gloves appeared above Lina-- she noticed it landing on her head.... Grabbing it in her hands she waved bye to Xelloss and Filia, running back to the rest of the gang.
"Why does Zelgadiss want gloves?" asked Filia.
"Do we really want to know?" replied Xelloss opening his eyes.
"Xelloss, Don't go there."
"Zelgadiss!!! HERE!" She ran before her friends and fell to her knees. "Is it just me or am I outta shape?" she asked breathless.
"Thanks, Lina." smiled the chimera.
"So what's breakdancing, Zelgadiss?" asked Amelia still clueless.
"Yeah! Does it involve breaking something?" asked Gourry.
"No, you idiot! It's just dancing! WATCH!" scolded Lina.
"Yes ma'am." bowed Gourry.
Zelgadiss put the navy gloves on his hands and stood listening to the music. It was fading, so he waited for the next song to come on.
"Go up on the stage, Zel!" yelled Amelia excitedly.
"But--"
"Yeah! Go ahead Zel!" encouraged Lina. Gourry smiled and nodded beside her.
Zelgadiss followed his orders... he went on stage with his heart pounding, and wondering if humiliation would be the only outcome from this.

Zelgadiss started off by keeping his head down, feeling unsteady. The bass of the music beat loudly with his fast beating heart. It raced as though something big was coming up, and Zelgadiss felt stupid considering it was just dancing.
The singers started.
So did Zelgadiss.
His feet shuffled skillfully around the floor, until the singers faded. That's when he got to the ground.
Amelia watched in awe, as well as Gourry and Lina. They were all impressed.
Zel held his body up with just his hands as his feet stuck in the air. He then stood with one hand, while the other grabbed his leg.
Actually amazing and hard to do!
He then let go and landed profesionally to the ground. Looking up at the three watcher, he blushed with embarrasment, but continued. He was almost as skillfull as Lina. Well, not ALMOST. HE IS as skillfull as Lina, which made her quite impressed (and a bit jealous)!
The music continued, and Zelgadiss kept going.
Author's note: It's very hard to detail dancing, so let's just say that Zelgadiss was incredibly good! *_*
The song ended.

The three slayers were still staring at Zel as he jumped off the stage infront of them.
"W-Wow....!" whispered Amelia, loud enough for them all to hear.
"That was great, Zel!" grinned Gourry patting the chimera on the back.
"Thanks, Gourry. I didn't think I could do it after all these years..." he lowered his voice in a bit of depression.
"That was amazing Zel! You really made this dance a dance! And here I was thinking I was the only one who could!" laughed Lina.
"Hey!" protested Amelia. "I can dance to, y'know!" the other three looked at her. "Just not that kind of dance..." she took a step back. (Everyone staring can scare you at times.)
"Let's go get a drink." suggested Gourry. "My mouth is getting dry..."
"Good idea." Lina agreed. "Last one there is as dense as Gourry!" she laughed and started running.
Amelia and Zelgadiss also ran, leaving the puzzled Gourry behind. "As dense as... me? H-HEY!!!" he finally understood and ended up being last at the bar.
"Haha! Gourry! You're as dense as yourself!" laughed Lina.
"Does that make sense?" he asked.
"Of course it does. Here's a pop." she handed him coca cola.
His face faultered. "Aww... You got any Pepsi? I like Pepsi better."
"What's the difference?!" Lina yelled.
"Pepsi's sweeter." replied Zelgadiss. (He and Amelia had two bottles of coke and two bottles of Pepsi infront of them. They actually compared it...)
Lina kept quiet.
"Have fun, guys?" asked Xelloss, sitting a few seats down from them beside Filia.
"Yeah, we are actually.... How about you?" she asked happily.
"Oh, you know.... things here, things there..." he replied.
"Wha--?" started Gourry.
"I see you've changed your clothes." added Zelgadiss.
Filia started laughing.
"What's so funny?" asked Xelloss.
"You." she laughed again.
"Oh come on...!" Xelloss stood up. "Look, these are my dancing pants! You know.... Plenty of ball room?"
"Aww.." Filia moved away disgusted. "Xelloss!"
He laughed. "And that's why you smiled right after I said that, right? Hah!"
"Very amusing...." added Zelgadiss.
The two kept fighting....
Amelia sighed.
"What's wrong?" asked Lina.
"N-Nothing. I'm fine, really." the princess replied quickly.
Lina didn't believe her, and looked at Zel.
He shrugged, but was also curious.
"Are you sure you're okay?" he asked for re-assurance.
"Yeah, I'm sure." she repeated.
The chimera took another sip from his pepsi and thought. "Hey, Amelia..." he sounded insecure at the moment.
"What is it?" she asked slightly tired.
He looked at his can, then at Amelia. Blushing, he turned back to his drink. "Want to dance with me....?" he asked quietly....
Amelia was slightly shocked, and looked at him. He was fidling with his can, nearly breaking it.
"Sure." she smiled. "I'd like that."
Zelgadiss smiled back, still blushing, but stood up as she did.

Amelia forgot about how tired she was, she laughed as she jumped and pulled Zelgadiss to the middle of the dance floor. What a lucky girl she was. ^_^
Zelgadiss also couldn't help but smile.
They twirled, they shuffled feet, they jumped, they even laughed; they were having fun dancing.
Lina and the rest of the gang watched.
"That's so cute..." commented Lina.
Gourry smiled and drank more 'coca cola' AND 'pepsi'. He was comparing them....
"Come on Filia! We can have fun!! See?? Look at them!!! Please?!?!"
Filia shook her head. "I still don't see why you want to so much. And why not do it alone?!"
"It's no fun dancing alone." explained Gourry.
"Thank you, Gourry!" nodded the trickster, smiling.
Lina was beginning to be annoyed. "Filia..." she whispered. "Just dance with him!" that was an order.
Filia sweat-dropped and glared at the still grinning monster.
"Okay." she stood up.
"Really? You're not kidding? You'll really dance with me?"
"Yes..." she said looking at the satisfied Lina.
Xelloss was the one dragging the crying dragon-girl. Poor Filia...
Meanwhile...
"I think they're the same!" Gourry was scratching his head and holding up two cans.
"Give me that." demanded Lina. She grabbed the two cans and examined them.
After a long time.....
"Oh does it really matter that much?!! Come on!"
All the Slayers seemed to be paired up and dancing. What a coincedence! ^_^
Amelia and Zelgadiss kept their smiles.
Lina and Gourry kept stepping on eachother....
And Filia was too lazy to move. Xelloss kept poking her in the arm until she finally gave in.
So they danced 'somewhat-happily' too.
"This is so fun!" cheered Amelia.
Zelgadiss laughed his reply.
"Haaha! Gourry you look so funny dancing the robot!" Lina rolled on the floor.
"Come on Filia! TWIRL!!!" Filia twirled.... "Now SMILE!" Filia smiled.... For real too. "That's what I like to see!" he winked.
"Don't get too excited! Your pants might fall off!" laughed Filia.
"If it bothers you so much...!" Xelloss pulled them up and used his belt to tie it. "There. Now can we dance normally?" he pleaded.
Filia smiled and nodded.
The song started to die down..... leaving everyone catching their breath, and patting eachother on the back.
"That was so fun...!" smiled Lina.
Amelia nodded.
"I need to sit down...." sighed Filia.
"Wait!" Xelloss stopped her.
A slow song faded into their ears....

"Please stay." asked Xelloss.
Filia stared.
Amelia was watching Zelgadiss, and he was watching her. They just hugged, and started dancing.
"Hey Lina!" Gourry smiled. "Wanna dance to this one?"
"Uhh...." she started.
"Please???? I'll give you your birthday present!" he begged sitting on the ground like a dog.
"What did you get me??" Lina got excited.
"Only if you dance, I'll tell!" he winked.
"Okay." she smiled back.
Filia decided to go ahead, but she stayed her distance which made Xelloss' face faulter.
"Just a little clos--"
"NO!"
"Just--"
"NO!!"
So he quit asking.
"Everyone is with someone else." whispered Lina.
"Even Xelloss... Even Zelgadiss..." replied Gourry.
Lina smiled and leaned against Gourry's chest, with her arms around his waist. He softly hugged her tighter....
Amelia's arms were around Zelgadiss' neck, and his were by her waist. They paced slowly and quietly moved with the music.
The princess was leaning on Zel's shoulder, with both their eyes closed.
"How long can this last....?" whispered Amelia.
Zelgadiss opened his eyes and softened. "I don't think we'll get very far." he replied.
"Why...?"
"Because it can't..... it's impossible.... it's too..." He couldn't think of words to speak his mind.
"It's too special....?" asked Amelia with a slight tear falling from her eyes.
Zelgadiss tightened his grip. "Yes..."
Amelia let her tears fall, silently.
"Is there any reason why you don't kill us all, Xelloss?" asked Filia in their on-going conversation.
"Do you have to ask me so many questions...? Why don't we just dance?"
"Because I feel uncomfortable being silent around you!"
"Uncomfortable? Or afraid?" Xelloss' eye opened.
"Don't start with me." was the dragon's reply.
"Poor Xelloss tries so hard to get Filia, and she just rejects him." Gourry said while watching the two.
"Can he really like her?" asked Lina also spying.
"Why not? He always tries getting her attention. Always teases, and wants to have fun with her.... and opposites attract, right?"
Lina nodded.
"So outside, they keep fighting, but inside..."
"They feel more than hatred for eachother......" whispered Lina.
"Like I said.... Poor Xelloss."
"I can't believe you could feel sorry for a monster.. but......"
Lina's eyes brightened. "Let's help him out. Listen--" she started whispering into Gourry's ear.
Very odd-like, Lina and Gourry shuffled, or should I say "danced" their way over to Filia and Xelloss.
Xelloss knew what they were doing and smiled.
Lina started counting down, the closer she got to Filia.
"3....2....1! OOPS!"
The trickster moved Filia closer to him while Lina apologized for "bumping into her".
Xelloss held her tightly, but free enough to let her move back.
She didn't. The dragon instead, hugged him and continued dancing.
Lina smiled.
