ASU Web Jukebox (will answer many of your questions about doing Web development at ASU) 

You can FTP files to your AFS space in Netscape by entering ftp://yourAsuriteID@general.asu.edu where you enter a URL that you want to visit.

Directions to use WSFTP and Fetch. You can also download these programs if you are going to upload your files (including your Web pages) from home. Look for the link that is shown during step 1 of the directions.
