Armed Reaction is a cop series but what made this cop series different
from others is its great cast.
Besides great chemistry between the leads, their great performances also made
this series a must-see.
Brief Summary:
Esther played a cop who had never really serious about her job because in fact she loves
being a housewife. Unfortunately, once she was misunderstood to have an affair
with her boss, she was transferred to a new department. What made things worse is that
she also found out that her husband had cheated on her.
After her life turned upside down, she became more serious about her job.
In the new department, Esther has a close friend, Joyce's character "Chan Sam Yuen", who was like a tomboy. Joyce was
very determined and serious about her work. She lived with her mom, two younger sisters and her uncle "Chan Siu Sung",
played by Bobby AuYeung. Since Sam Yuen was always serious when it comes to her work and she's very confident
in her abilities, she always had conflicts with "Ching Fung" (played by Marco Ngai) She believes that he looks down on her
because she is a woman, so they often got into fights.
On the other hand, Esther and Bobby also developed
their relationship through Esther's only son. In the end, four of them got a happy ending.
Review: I think Armed Reaction is a very good series because it's quite funnier than other
cop series. They all sure gave great performances here. You don't get to see Marco Ngai as a good guy so often. But in this one you'll
definitely see how good he could be. Bobby and Esther were very funny and very cute together.
There's nothing new about the cases in this series but it was all right for a 20 episodes series. If you
want something entertaining, this one is definitely worth your money.
