Down Memory Lane

Brief Summary:
Basically it was a story about family and love. Alex Man and Mei Suet were husband and wife and they had lots of
children. They were poor but happy. But things changed when Alex (unwillingly) had to leave his family and go to work in the mines. There, he met
Frankie and Lam Ka Wah. Lam Ka Wah was Frankie's older brother but somehow they were so different. Frankie was quiet and hard working while Lam Ka Wah
was very selfish. Frankie became friends with Alex. One day Kenix was sent to this mine to marry to some guy there.
She was bought to be that guy's wife. At first she didn't talk to anyone because she was scared. Anyway, that guy that she was supposed to marry to died because of the bomb, so she became free.
Then she and Frankie started to fall for each other. After some incident they all came back in town. Alex couldn't find his wife and children, he started to delevop a releationship with Lo Lam who was very rich.
He didn't love her but she obviously really loved him. Anyway, Alex found his wife and managed to be together again. I don't remember much later on...Lam Ka Wah did lots of very very bad things. Frankie decided to killed him because he didn't want Lam Ka Wah to hurt the others anymore.
Lam ka Wah died and Frankie ended up in jail. Many many years later (when they all were old) Frankie came out of jail and reunited with Kenix.
Review:
Frankly,this series was so boring. The only thing that kept me watching was Frankie and Kenix. The storyline was so-so and can be very boring and annoying when it comes to
Alex's character. It was way too melodramatic sometimes. Lam Ka Wah gave the best performance as a villain. Unless you want to
see Kenix and Frankie together on screen, I don't think it's really worth watching.
