| 1. Ro-Day-O vs. Ro-Dee-O: Paris Hilton and NicoleRichie throw themselves a fabulous “Good-bye to the good life” party at the Hilton mansion, that later moves to one of L.A.’s trendiest night clubs. The next morning, the girls take a limo to the airport and board a flight to their new hometown. Upon arrival, they meet their new family (complete with a cute 18-year-old boy), help the family finish working on their bedroom (which happens to be the back porch), and learn that they will be sharing one bathroom with seven people for the next five weeks. They are even asked to pluck freshly killed chickens for dinner. The “simple life” has officially begun.
2. Dairy Farmin’ Divas: Paris and Nicole stumble through their first day of work on a dairy farm. In the war between the girls and nature, nature wins. Their new family is appalled to learn that they have been unceremoniously fired, even before they finished the first job. 3. Sonic Burger Shenanigans: Paris and Nicole next take a stab at an honest day’s work at the fast food joint, Sonic Burger. They quickly become the employees from hell, wreaking havoc on both customers and management. “Lucy and Ethel” have nothing on our Bel Air babes. 4. The One Thing About the Rumors: The town mayor asks Paris and Nicole to be honorary co-chairs of the Altus Springtime Gala. They sell kisses for a dollar, enter some less-that-perfect pies in the town pie bake-off, and turn heads with their risque couture. Despite the girls’ best efforts to fit in, make a good impression and help out, they end up doing more harm than good. As expected, the men are enthralled and the women are appalled. 5. Shopaholics: Paris and Nicole’s next misadventure is manning cattle at the I-40 Livestock Auction. The day takes an unexpected turn when they head to the Farmer’s Co-op to pick up cattle feed and come back with a beautiful Mother’s Day gift for Janet - charged to their new employer’s credit card. When their boss and Janet discover the mischief, the girls pay the consequences - they must perform the disgusting job of pregnancy testing 100 head of cattle! 6. Boy Crazy: Our girls set out to bring Los Angeles to Altus, and end up turning the town upside down. Despite the dad’s repeated house rules, the girls break curfew and flirt with boys - even making empty promises and offering them trips to California. With only a few days left, the family is concerned about the trail of trouble the girls are leaving behind. 7. Good-bye and Good Luck: Paris and Nicole’s 30-day sentence is up. They realize that they are not cut out for “The Simple Life” but they have come to learn to love the host family and leaving is a lot harder than they even imagined. They bid adieu to their new family, new friends, colorful bosses, and other townsfolk at a going-away picnic in Altus City Park. Personal note from Tim: There is no picnic in the final episode. They pack their bags and leave from the house in a cab. LOST EPISODE ONLY AVAILABLE ON SEASON 2 DVD: Paris and Nicole are homesick and Altus experiences a few tornadoes, which has everyone feeling a little nervous and scared. They get a job delivering stuffed dead animals. |
