3rd Rock From the Sun

The
premise for 3rd Rock is unique and different than all of the other shows
we have chosen. Four aliens are sent to Earth to scout and find out
the behavior of the so-called advanced species known as humans. In their
journey, they begin to learn much of this human race by putting themselves
into human form and living among other humans. They have to assume traditional
family roles in order to cohabitate with the humans undetected. A "traditional
family" in this case is a High Commander, a decorated military officer,
a transmitter to the Big Giant Head, and an intelligence specialist.
As a result of their journey, the aliens learn a lot about life as people,
and learn to live and work as a family.
