The Brady Bunch

The
Brady Bunch is an exaggerated depiction of what the public wanted to
think family life was like in the 1970's. Even after the Brady's had
squabbles, they always came together and were smiling by the end of
every episode. The great difference in ages and the phases all adolescents
go through were revealed in this TV show. This show is, however, one
of the first based on a family that does not represent the idea of the
"perfect" family in which the mother and father get married and then
have children. In this show, the family consists of the mother and father
that already had 3 children each. They combine to form the Brady Bunch
we all know. Essentially, two broken families combine to form one home.
