The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

On The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the main character Will (played by Will Smith), is forced to leave his home and family to go live with his aunt and uncle and their family. The show basically shows that even though it is not his immediate family that he is living with, they still serve the same purpose. Will’s aunt and uncle serve as primary role models for him and teach him values and morals that they feel are essential to his character. Even though his mother is still in his former place of residence, you get the impression that he has a new family and that is where he considers “home.”
