Full House

The story line behind "Full House" is an attempt at making an abnormally-sized family seem normal. Because the mother of the three daughters (DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle) dies, Danny, the father, invited their uncle and a lifelong friend to move in with them. At this point there are six people living under one roof in San Fransisco. Later in the series, Jesse, the uncle, marries Danny's co-host Rebecca, who also moves into the house. By this time the house is too small to house this many people; therefore, they turn the attic into an apartment. Soon after, Jesse and Rebecca have twins (Nicky and Alex). This makes 9 people in one house. Oh, and you can't forget their dog, Comet, lives there too. Despite the cramped living conditions, this family seems to keep their tempers under control and get along very well. Other than their abnormal size, they represent the American perspective of the perfect happy family.
