Ivan Sergei Hometown: Hawthorne, NJ Birthday: May 7 Although he's a toy designer in Jack & Jill, Ivan Sergei wasn't playing around when he landed his first role as the serious, and violent, "Huero" opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in "Dangerous Minds." Working on this film introduced the NJ-born Sergei to the LA world he would call his own. Sergei's career has been marked by some notable TV roles. He starred opposite Tori Spelling in "Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?" which received as much attention for its title as it did for being the epitome of the made-for-TV genre. Sergei was also the high-kicking super-sleuth, "Mac Ramsey," in John Woo's "Once A Thief." His agent must be working overtime, because he also guest starred on "Touched by an Angel," "Cybill," Party of Five," and "Kindred: The Embraced." On the big screen, Sergei wowed viewers as the slow-witted hunk in the independent film "The Opposite of Sex," with Christina Ricci, Lisa Kudrow and Lyle Lovett. Sergei has two independent projects in the works. "Playing Mona Lisa" with Alicia Witt, Harvey Fierstein and Elliot Gould is a comedy filming near San Francisco. "We Met on the Vineyard" is a romance that has Sergei as Julianna Margulies' unenthusiastic fiancée.
