Alpha
-I'm certain that if I knew more about dogs I would hate this episode. But since I don't know alot about dogs I've got to say this episode was good.
-The basic plot was a man was somehow given the ability to change into a dog which could not resist making dog chow out of anybody who gets in his way.
-Was it just me or was Scully unusually testy in this episode? Its seems she dosen't want to be following this particular X-File so much so she takes it out on whoever's closest at the time and unfortuneatly it was usually Mulder.
-The dog death toll rises again with the untimely death of what I'm thinking was a golden retriever. He will join Queequeg at the big doggy bowl in the sky.
-OK so this guy Detweiler becomes the evil Wanshang Dhole. So he locks himself in a crate to be shipped to the states? Couldn't he have gone in a much more comfortable airplane? And who exactly was he shipping himself to?
-I'll buy that Detweiler could change into the Wanshang Dhole but how do his clothes possess this special ability too?
-I couldn't do a review of "Alpha" without mentioning Karen Berquist. Basically that women needed a life other than dogs.
-I'm constantly shocked at how much of a higher level Mulder and Scully are opperating than me. When Scully tried to explain Karen's feelings to Mulder she said "She's enanmoured with you." I would of just said she has the hots for you.
-Best Line:"Dog Gone"
Rating:7 disgruntled dogs out of 10
