Chinga

-This episode was mostly written by Stephen King with Chris Carter making some adjustments. Whenever I watch this episode I’m always shocked at how it’s just a little different from what are used to from the X-Files. It has the same attitude and everything, but the feeling is just that much different that you can tell there is a guest writer.

-An interesting plot we were faced with. A demon doll that kills people she doesn’t like. Scully on vacation who gets dragged into the whole mess and Mulder back in Washington trying to kill time while his partners away.

-I’m not wholly convinced that it was all the dolls fault, that kid seemed pretty bratty.

-The male philes out there were treated to a panning up view of Scully in a tight white Maine t-shirt. Where exactly did she get that shirt? Did she stop at the first tourist shop she hit? Or does she have a t-shirt for all the states in her closet

-I love the way Scully went from Casual Scully in her shades and t-shirt to Business Scully by putting her blue shirt over her Maine one.

-Is it just me or was the waitress at the ice cream parlour the female half of the agents from “Detour”? Personally I was really happy when her got pulled into the machine.

-I laughed when Jane the teacher tried to turn on her lights, how stupid is she? She’s in X-Files territory now, her lights won’t work and if her doors have yet to be kicked down someone will be by to do it shortly.

-Did anyone else notice the book Scully was reading? It was ‘Affirmations for Women Who Do Too Much’ too bad she never got to the chapter on how to have an undisrupted vacation.

-Officer Bonsaint and Scully did a great job on the door keeping up the X-Files door quota, which seems to be one per episode.

-When Scully and Bonsaint burned the doll did they not notice they were in an inch of very flammable stuff?

-I think the Mulder kept calling Scully for three reasons, he was bored out of his mind, he wanted to hear about the X-File and he was worried about Scully. Remember the last time he went on vacation? He kept calling her to check on the X-File and when he finally stopped she got a tattoo. Maybe he was just trying to make sure she didn’t go out and get anything pierced.

-Scully contemplating buying an ‘I Want to Believe Poster’ was cute. Where exactly was she going to put it? It won’t fit in, in her apartment maybe in the other room of the office it is after all her ‘area’.

-Speaking from experience it does hurt when a pencil falls off the roof onto your head, but quite frankly Mulder did have it coming. If the Bureau ever wonders who’s stealing supplies I think their prime suspect should be Mulder.

-Best Line:Mulder: “Scully”

Scully: “Yeah?”

Mulder: “Marry me.”

Rating:8 demon dolls out of 10
