First Person Shooter

-Wow. Well “Home” had some stiff competition holding its place as ‘least enjoyed episode ever’.

-It didn’t have what is maybe the best part of The X-Files; an unexplained occurrence that is eventually explained scientifically or by Mulder. But the only explanation for this occurrence was that the ‘goddess’ some how jumped programs (which I’m pretty sure is impossible). This does not explain how in a virtual setting she was able to kill people. And may I ask why they didn’t just pull the plug?

-I really thought that the teaser went on too long. A few minutes into it was like “Yeah we get it you shoot people, please move on.”

-Phoebe created this girl to help her get through a world filled with men right? So why exactly did she dress this girl how a man would want her?

-The way the Lone Gun Men explained the situation to Scully and not to Mulder on the way down to viewing the body was classic. They knew it was Scully they would have to convince not Mulder.

-I did enjoy the way Scully looked while talking to the police officer. She didn’t seem to eager to introduce Mulder probably because she knew he would embarrasses her with an unusual explanation for the murders (which he did by showing her and the officer the digital suspect).

-Did anybody else think the way Super VR Boy had his guns pointed he wouldn’t be able to hit anything?

-The first time we dealt with the police officers was funny but the second was just stupid.

-Another scene that went on too long was the Scully shooting fiasco. The Lone Gun Men arguing, then Scully shooting, then the Lone Gun Men arguing, then Scully shooting. I felt like I could have gone for a snack and come back and not missed a thing.

-You may have noticed I haven’t complained about the scantily clad stripper and the scantily clad Miss. Goddess. That’s because I didn’t mind because we got a nicely dressed up Mulder. I’m not complaining but why did he take his shirt off to put on the metal thing? And why did he op for shades instead of the head thing Scully wore.?

-I was slightly disturbed at the thought of a digital, almost naked, Scully living on in the game.

-The final monologue bothered me. I thought they saved those for meaningful moments.

-All in all not even the appearance of the Lone Gun Men could have saved this one. It was just an hour long of what I’m thinking was some guys getting their ‘ya yas’ out.

-Clothes Call:This is an easy one. Those metal jacket things did look really cool.

-Best Line: Hard to say but I’m going to go with “Scully’s in the zone!”

Rating:5 ½ boring shooting scenes out of 10
