Post Modern Prometheus

-An excellent plot to this episode. Very belivable, especially with all the controversy over cloning especially humans.

-I enjoyed the "out of the ordinary" feel of the black and white. I don't think I'd like every episode done like this but the occasional experimentation is fine by me.

-The acting was great, Gillian and David did the excellent job we've all come to enjoy and expect. Patti Tierce, who played the mother, did an excellent job of portraying someone who measures their life by the TV. Stewart Gale, as Izzy Berkowitz, was convincing as someone who was driven by comic books and small town rumours. Chris Owens was fantastic as the Mutato (yes that is the same Owens will get to know as Agent Spender, if you look closely you can see its him).

-I loved the moment when Scully was put on the spot by Dr.Pollidori. she had to explain what exactly a certain gene did, she said "I believe it has something to do with growth and development." I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure every gene has something to do with growth and developement in some capacity.

-When Scully was threatening Dr.Pollidori with turning his research into a footnote I loved the look Mulder was giving behind her. It was one of those "Yeah thats right! Don't mess with us or she'll mess you up!"

-One of the great abilities of The X-Files is their ability to scare me and amuse me at the same time. One of such occurences happend while "The Great Mutato" was dancing to Cher. While he was sillouetted dancing up the stairs to attack Mrs. Pollidori singing along with Cher I was terrified and laughing out loud.

-The towns people seemed surprised when the barn caught fire. When your carrying around flaming torches in a building of dried wood filled with dry hey I think your begging for hurt.

-The dance scene was beutifull. My only problem was the way it drifted into the drawing. It was a cool effect but Scully looked horrible.

-Things I Learned: You can create a whole town of animal human hybrids and no one will notice. (Makes you wonder why the aliens are having such huge problems.)
