Pilot

-I found it kind of hard to review Pilot because this is the episode that started it all. Also this was everyone's first try at The X-Files so they weren't as comfortable as they are later. A lot of changes usually happen after a shows pilot so you have to treat them gently.

-The highschool class all being abducted plot was good. There was afew things that just didn't make sense but sometimes in The X-Files you just have to accept that.

-I'm glad they got rid of that "The following story is inspired by acctual accounts" stuff. That would of gotten anoying.

-X-Files was creapy from the very beginning, the teaser had me hooked.

- Was it just me or did Scully's voice sound a little weird?

-I hope Scully enjoyed her little walk through the offices, that'll be her last time above ground for a long time.

- Why did Scully feel the urge to tell CSM about Mulder's nickname?

-Easiest way to tell your being screwed over: A junk filled storage shelf comes before your new office.

-Is it just me or does Mulder seem a little bit nerdy?

-Our first Mulder slide show. Almost brings a tear to your eye.

-After the slide show we have another first: The classic Mulder and Scully argument. Scully is firing scientific fact at Mulder while he cuts her off with whats basically a "nu-uh!"

-Was ther a reason Mulder had a whole row to himself? Did the guy sitting next to him get up to go to the bathroom, and Mulder decided to take advantage of the situation?

-I'm pretty sure that Ray Soames autopsy was the last one Mulder sat through without being squemish.

-How do those kids not notice that implant in their nose? It looked huge.

-In the forest when Scully was yelling at the bright lights and loud noise I had to wonder how exactly she thought all that was Mulder.

-I laugh every time I see Scully's first gun pull. She has that 'straight out of FBI training' stance.

-Mulder and Scully's time in the rainy graveyard was beautifull. They figured out the whole thing then walked off laughing at themselves like old friends.

-The infamous Mark Snow running music made its first glorious appearance, of course one of them had to fall, Scully took her turn by getting hit in the head with something.

-Why didn't Peggy die like everyone else? And why was Billy suddenly unvegtabled?

-Scully of course missed the whole thing, giving it a 'Polkaroo' sort of feel.

-Another X-Files first: Scully's first give away of hard evidence, in this case it was the implant from Ray's nose.

-Mulder calls her at 11:21... coincedence?

-I want to know who keeps track of the consortiums files, they always seem so organized.

-Things I Learned: Where to get a salmon to die for.

-Best Line: Mulder's "She was running? On foot?" um... what else would she have run on?

Rating:9 baboon corpses out of 10
